Also, I'd like to be able to have any phrase that contains the word "disregard" skipped. For example, if the comment in a static lease that is not disabled is "disregard printer", that particular lease would be skipped in the script.

With the removal of slave ports and the implementation of bridging, I was wondering how much the actual speed is affected when you bridge ports together? Let's say you have a hex router and you bridge ports 2-5 together. How is that different than just not bridging and sending port #2 only to a swit...

I just upgraded to 6.43 and my ipsec peers are now giving me the warning:

Is there a way around this when using a pre-shared key, or do we now need to use certificates to get rid of this message?

How do I keep traffic separate on Vlan and Lan?

We have 9 Nest Wifi IP cameras on the network. They are on VLAN 102 with a subnet range of 192.168.2.x. The Lan is on subnet range 192.168.1.x. The wifi network seems slow when the cameras are on. Re: Bridging and Speed

just to be clear, if we use the hex with NO bridging, just a single wan port and a single lan port, and no vlans, have you ever tested to see if you could yet a gig wan to lan speeds?

We don't do much with vlans, so we don't really need to bridge.

What would be the minimum router board you would think for a large home with 20-30 devices? We have been using the hex routers and have had no issues. I think we need to think about something that will get us to 1gig wan to lan speed since gig internet is already out.

When we set up mikrotik's behind Verizon or Frontier gateways, we need to put the mikrotik in the dmz.
