Also, I'd like to be able to have any phrase that contains the word "disregard" skipped. For example, if the comment in a static lease that is not disabled is "disregard printer", that particular lease would be skipped in the script.

just to be clear, if we use the hex with NO bridging, just a single wan port and a single lan port, and no vlans, have you ever tested to see if you could yet a gig wan to lan speeds?

We don't do much with vlans, so we don't really need to bridge.

I put it in the flash file, and now it works.

When did they introduce the flash file?

You are very smart! You helped me figure it out. Thank you. We don't need the mangle rules. The key is adding the address to the address list. It automatically adds the static route. can you explain the other way too? I know I've done it but I can't remember how. It involved a static route and some firewall rules.

where does this go: and only if is needed: add src-nat dst-add 192.168.0.100 action src-add to address 192.168.0.101

Re: Accessing device with different subnet

There are not 2 routers...

There is one router with the lan set to 192.168.47.0/24.

The device just has a static ip of 192.168.0.100. It did not get it's address from a router.

Does that make a difference?

Accessing device with different subnet

I have a device with a static 192.168.0.100/24 ip address. It comes that way out of the box. It is on the lan with a 192.168.47.0/24 config.

Is there a way I can access that device without changing my ip on my pc to something in the 192.168.0 range?

Thanks!

Anyone know why they stopped making the CCR1009-8G-1S? We used it all the time. What is the best model to replace it with? Our only concern is that it will pass gigabit wan to lan speeds. As long as it can do that, we are open to any Mikrotik router. We would prefer something in the same price range...

The main lan is 10.0.1.1, and the transmitter and receiver LANs are in the 172.16.0.1 and 172.16.128.1 range. The router does not hand out the 172.16 addresses. They are static addr...

What do you mean by getting close? Do you mean it has the specs. It the software hasn't caught up?

I would prefer a rack mount solution.

Do you think the RB2011iL-RM will be able to handle it?

If not, what is the next rack mount that can do it?

Thanks.

Is there a mikrotik router that will better handle 300mbps on the wan side so I actually can receive that speed as I do from my modem?
