Hello, Where does Winbox store it's configuration files? I mean the list of the sites so I can click easy. Is it a separate file, or does it store in the executable? I am getting a new computer and I need to transfer the old Winbox to the new computer. Is it enough to just copy winbox.exe to the new...

btest uses only ONE core of the router. So if you have a CCR with 4 cores, it will use only 1 core, and the other three will be idle. ALWAYS use iPerf, or better: real file transfer a traffic what the end user will use. For example: Database is in location 1, and user is in location 2. He (or she) s...

Put the Unifi controller in the SAME subnet as the guest users. Put it in a walled garden (with it's MAC address), so that the controller does not need to authenticate. Then you can access it through the cloud function of the controller. A better way to do it, is keep all the AP's and the controller...

Not the most elegant solution, go back to the stable version. I assume your clients want a stable connection, and that the device does not work 3 x per week. That is NOT reliable.

First determine, how much traffic is going to go through the wireless part? How many Mbps do you need. The same as this: You need to get from point A to point B. Your choice is a car. Re: need advice on choosing a device

Make sure you take this into account: Total limit is 2.8A@24V That means, that if you have 5 identical devices they should not draw more than 560 mA PER UNIT. That is approximately 12W per unit. The WAP AC is 12W. So it `might` or might not work. Secondary solution: Buy a 48V adapter and power the C...

nstream and nv2 are Mikrotik propriety protocols which will work ONLY between two Mikrotik's. It will NOT work betwen a mobile phone / tablet / laptop and Mikrotik AP.

These protocols are used for point to point connections.

So set it to 802.11 protocol, so every phone / tablet will recognize it.
