It may be that you need more amps on your power supply. 0.8A for 24V and 3 x high power cards could be on the edge. The standard power units only guarantee 80% of the rated power for continuous use -- 100% is for peaks only.

Typically the satellite bonding boxes have TCP acceleration (TCP ack frame spoofing so that the sender will not wait for the real high latency ack frame to arrive before sending another TCP window). RouterOS does not have that, but we will look into that and see how hard it is to make.

We will take the wireless-legacy package out of the general distribution and put it as a separate download on the download page.

Your timing is correct, but there won't be anything on this for two weeks -- than manual writing for this board will begin next week.

If you use the 5211 from us, then you should use v2.8.19 to correct and disconnect/reconnect issues.

Please send a supout file from both sides to support@mikrotik.com -- we have heard a number of complaints like this for the 5213. However, our test work perfectly. It may be that some D-link custom mpci designs with Atheros chips do not work well with our current low level radio setup -- perhaps the...

If you check the logs, you may see. If you send a supout file, we can see very low level logs and tell you why. It may be that there is water in the cable and that badly affects the physical (RF) part of the radio -- and it can go on and off.

We have WDS-slave, that will follow the AP with DFS set. You can't have two APs with DFS set.

We do delay polling for stations that don't have any traffic, but it is dynamic and uses the max polling for three seconds after the first traffic. So it should be a problem -- except for the first packet.

The "R" for running comes from BSD terminology for Ethernet interfaces -- they have an "up" state and "running." "Up and running" is some kind of American slang -- so it is not the easiest to understand, plus, we don't have "up" in our description. W...

v2.8 automatically puts v1.7.4 secondary firmware on all prism cards -- when booted with RouterOS, though this is not a permanent write to the prism card. It may be that the primary firmware is so old, it can not support v1.7.4 sec -- then you would need to use your laptop and windows untility to fi...
