Re: CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN vs RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN

I suggest to choose CRS109. It is still Router witch ROS lvl5 :) but have more gig ports and supports 802.3af . So if you need 8 gig + sfp choose CRS, if you prefer 5 gig + 5 fast + sfp choose 2011. But remember that in 2011 are two different switch chips so you can't bridge gig port witch fast port...

Dasan H640SFP is gepon sfp module compatible with any Dasan olt. But I can't guiarantee that this will work with mt FTC converter. (1,25 / 1,25 vs 1,25 / 2,5 )

MikroTik Wiki Radius description seems to be wrong

Hi MT stuff. ROS is without doubt pice of great work. But... It seems like Radius Coa feature won't work with pppoe. Acording to wiki radius description someone like me could be confused. Wiki tells that Coa is supported as well. But I'm stuck on "unsupported expression" error. I find post...

Re: please help me, newbie here

tell us something more :)

1. Are You going to connect rb2011 to Internet using one of interfaces from 1 to 5 ?
2. Do You have to static add your public IP or there is some PPPoE, DHCPipv4 or DHCPipv6 server from Internet side?

This is possible :)

masquerade is probably using IP xxx.xxx.47.18 - it is my static public IP address (i think so, now I'm little confused )

most tutorials i read tells that masquerade with only out interface is the simplest way :/
