Re: v6.38rc [release candidate] is released

I've been seeing weird DNS failures on the CCR DNS server. It doesn't seem to follow the DNS server priority when you have 4 DNS servers in the DNS Settings list and query from multiple subnets. For example my CCR has 3 ip's 10.0.0.9,10.1.0.2,10.1.1.2 on 3 different interfaces. If I query dns on 10....

Re: v6.35.4 [current] is released!

My IPSEC policies keep changing to back to SA Src/Dst 0.0.0.0/0 anytime I log off or reboot.

Re: v6.34.3 [current] is released!

Also, the following was posted on 6.32.4: vrrp - make sure that VRRP gets state on bootup; It isn't verifying state on boot in 6.34.3. I have an Ethernet interface VRRP with preemption disabled/default 100 priority on both which attempts to take master unless I disable it in a startup script and ena...

Re: v6.34.3 [current] is released!

I don't know when it broke but in 6.34.3 netwatch reports everything as down and never comes up unless I disable/enable all netwatch's.

Re: v6.35rc is released, new wireless package!

in 6.34 VRRP was fixed to verify that it was up after reboot before taking over. It works for Ethernet connections but on SFP connections it still tries to takeover even though other VRRP routers are up and preemption is disabled.

Re: 6.24 released

VRRP doesn't work correctly on Bridged interfaces, on every reboot each router tries to become master even though preemption mode is disabled.

VRRP flapping on startup 6.18

CCR - VRRP on a sfp bridge interface will flap on startup regardless of preemption mode setting. It will fail over fine if you test it but doesn't work as it should on boot. It works without a problem on a single interface. I guess it attempts to communicate before the interface is up. Anyone else e...

Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

we are going to put 2 CCR into production with 6.11 code

primary use bonding, vlan, vrrp and bgpd

bad move?
We have a similar setup but we don't touch the new releases as they are simply unstable. Mikrotik's public releases seem to be betas now days.

Feature Request: NTP & SMTP Hostname

Can we get the ability to enter a host name instead of a IP address?

There are many NTP & SMTP servers that use a host name that resolve to multiple IP addresses.

Re: iBGP on VRRP interfaces

I have an allow any to any rule in place. The session establishes but it drops packets like crazy. I'm running v6.0 GA. This is a very basic setup with no routes being exchanged either. It just doesn't seem to like running on the physical VRRP interface IP's. It runs fine if I put it on separate int...

iBGP on VRRP interfaces

I tried to setup a iBGP session on the physical VRRP interface IP's but it didn't work out as I guess the interfaces aren't active other than for hello's and routing?

Anyone ever try it for giggles?

Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

V6.0 GA

Anyone else have a problem of routing not updating on a bridge if you enable/add/disable routes after reboot?

The routes will work if I reboot the CCR but will not take effect if I add/enable/disable them while it's running.

Re: v6.0 released

Hi, CCR1036-12G-4S running GA v6.0 1. I have two static default routes setup. 2. I have a dst-nat setup. 3. I have a netwatch setup to monitor the primary default route. 4. Whenever I reboot the router the netwatch script fails to execute fully when it’s written like it is below. In fact it confuses...

Re: RouterOS v6.0rc13 released

Fyi,

When trying to bring up an ibgp session with a full route table between two directly connected CCR routers the session is unable to complete transfer of routes and restarts after about 3-4 minutes.
