Re: Feature requests

It would be very useful, to be able to setup a queue with target not only the interface name, but the interface's ingoing / outgoing /both direction. for example I wish to configure mangle for internet QoS. Now we have to configure different mangle marking for incoming and outgoing traffic. But it w...

DHCP server stops working

Hello to all. I have a RB 951G-2HnD with Ros 6.19 and firmware 3.18 and for some reason after some time the dhcp server stops working. If i perform a restart, then everything starts working as normal again for some time (usually couple of hours) and then again the dhcp stops. If I use winbox to ente...

Re: R5SHPn

I have just installed 2 R5SHPn cards to upgrade 2 long range p2p links (23km each). One link showed great increase in performance and ccq due to the extra db but on the second link I saw degradation. I normally see tx of -79 and rx of -76. (card on the other side is a R52Hn). My first thought was th...

Re: help with 25km point2point link over sea

I have used many different tools to calculate the fresnel lobes including ubiquiti's link calculator. And all show that the zones are clear. One side of the link is at an altitude of 250meters above sea level and the other side is around 70m from sea. furthermore, trying for better alignment I manag...

Re: help with 25km point2point link over sea

I am using nstream. 802is out of the question due to long range and ack timeout.
NV2 introduces lag in the link and I am not so sure that I will gain something from NV2 since its a p2p link and not a p2mp

help with 25km point2point link over sea

First of all I want to thank all the community. I have configured a link that reaches 25km and crosses a 7km sea channel. on both sides I'm using mikrotik 433 with R52hn cards and 30db dishes. One dish is a ARC DA5830SD1 5GHz 30dBi and the second is a Gibertini OP90. though the theoretical signal sh...

Re: New - RB951G-2HnD

I just purchased a new RB951G-2HnD and I have a problem with it. it keeps doing restarts from every 5 minutes. router operates as a dsl router using a pppoe router for my lan. Is there a method to help me figure out what causes these restarts? router os is 6 and firmware version is 3.08. Are you po...
