Re: v6.2 released

Hi mikrotik When will be the next release? Thanks I hope the new version gets tested better before it is called "stable" If you need a beta tester, you can send me the file/link, as we run quite some scripts and routing on our networks here. I will know soon enough if it works or not, or what might...

Re: IPv6 Version of Resolve?

Hi,

Not sure how Linux handles this, but on windows IPv6 is resolved first then ipv4 (aka, if there is a v6 route it will use that first)

Maybe make a option on the router to force the one or the other?

Personally I prefer the v4 atm, as my v6 range is over a slooooow link

Re: v6.2 released

Hi, Ok I found another problem, just when I though I had it all sorted. :foreach addy in=[/ip ad find] do={[:put $addy]} The above code should give you the position result of what it finds, but on 6.2 the result is blank/nil/nothing < one of those :D I also see that with long scripts, as from 6.1 I ...

Re: v6.2 released

Hi, Sorry, It seems I did not do proper testing on that one, it was not the url itself, but for some reason my username is being added infront of the url. This is a very strange problem. This script works on 6.1 and below copied and pasted into script and run, but on 6.2 it adds my username infront ...

Re: v6.2 released

yeah, it worked before, but I don't think you should use square brackets at all. just remove them around the variable - and it will work as earlier Hi, Yes I have removed the brackets, not sure why I had it like that in the first place, but thought that I would just mention this 2.) I am trying to ...

Re: v6.2 bug

Hi,

Yes ROS should have gotten the netmask from the /25 that you supplied.

You can always just try adding the netmask after your ip as below:

/ip add add address=172.25.55.2/25 interface= bridge-local netmask=255.255.255.128

Re: v6.2 released

Hi, Thank you for removing the explicit output on importing scripts. I have though found 2 more problems with V6.2 regarding the scripts I use. 1.) When you have a variable and want to add to it with itself in brackets then then it only takes the last entered text. Ex: :local Tester :set Tester "Hi ...

Re: changed script operation in 6.1?

Hi,

I also posted about this problem but in a different section.

http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php ... 50#p373562

I hope they can make an option to make it verbose or not as we do also not want it run in cml.

Re: RouterOS 6.1 released

Hi, We have 2 problems with the Ros6.1 release. importing rsc scripts has changed the calling structure and also the maximum characters per router script has been changed in Ros 6.1 The first problem is fixable with some work on rewriting the structure of the scripts, aka where we had to \\\ a " or ...
