Re: [Feature request] Wireguard

+1

Wireguard is so easy to setup and works on so many platforms already. On a side note though if implemented please make it more easier to use DNS names instead of IP addresses.

Re: DHCPv6 DUID change - bug?

I've had exactly the same issue. The DUID generated by ROS was done using another interface's mac address as the one I used to created my PPPOE session to my ISP. I've had to change mac addresses on the interfaces to make the DHCPv6 Request work. It would be really nice if one could force reset the ...

Hi there, I would be interested to know which source you are using to get this list of IP addresses to block? Would you care to share this? I would be interested to integrate the list you are serving into Blocklister ( Github ). Thanks for your help and keep up the good work! The OP said in a previ...

Re: Blocklister WebAPI to get precompiled IP Addresslists

Based on experience, you may want to use blackhole routes instead of an Address List. For larger lists, blackhole routes take up less CPU and RAM so they tend to perform much better and on lesser hardware. The only thing you lose is the ability to count the number of "hits" to the blacklists throug...

Excellent, perfect now we can be certain that it is a real bug and not a configuration/setup problem. :-?

Re: Blocklister WebAPI to get precompiled IP Addresslists

I will need to control this.

I want to point out a general update on this, I am quite ready to push this project to github now, so you could open up an issue for this.

Re: Weird routing loop in logs but there isn't one.

Hi there I thought I would drop on this as well, as I am experiencing the exact same thing on my new RB3011 running version 6.34.2 . When I switched from RB2011 to RB3011 I did the foolish thing of restoring a binary backup which I took on the RB2011 to the RB3011, which obviously overwrote all the ...

Re: Blocklister WebAPI to get precompiled IP Addresslists

Hi, would it be possible to split the level1 list? The other lists are working fine. I tried to apply the list but the router crashes. It rans out of Memory. I have an rb2011 Regards This could be done and idea that pops into mind is to introduce a pagination of some sort. So the idea would be that...

Re: mAP-2n AP/CAP LED

Yes actually it worked now, but I had to reboot my mAP-2n for the led changes to be taken into account, no idea why, maybe the uptime was too high already :)

Thanks for your reply

Re: mAP-2n AP/CAP LED

I second this question as I have exactly the same problem. I can't find anywhere in the RouterOS an option to change the behaviour of that LED would be nice to have a option to change it from blinking to static mode when in CAP mode.

Thanks

Feature Request: Custom User Policies

Hi there, I was wondering if it was possible to create new custom user policies in RouterOS? I have the need where I want to restrict a certain user only to be able to maintain /ip firewall addresslist lists. I am not sure if this is already somehow possible to do, or if this feature is mssing? Than...

Blocklister WebAPI to get precompiled IP Addresslists

Hi there, https://blocklister.gefoo.org Blocklister is a simple API for generating MikroTik RouterOS compatible addresslists . The ipaddresses included in these lists are regularly updated using source sites such as iblocklist.com, dshield.org etc. Importing the resulting scripts into your routers i...

Re: Radius Problem with WebFig

In our current setup we are using Cisco ACS v5.6.0.22-2. The problem elaborated by @fkayser is still present. I wanted to give a reply on this thread and to explain more in detail what our current setup is. I will first start with the MikroTik side of the setup and then quickly elaborate the setup o...

Re: Radius Problem with WebFig

Hi I am helping fkayser to solve this issue and so far we have not been able to login into the webfig using Radius Authenication. What I've tried was to enable radius debugging messages on the Mikrotik Router. Following is the current configuration. Radius is sending the packet to the mikrotik route...
