I have plans to build new large network in some Ukrainian city with IPTV and PortToCustomer configuration. But without IGMP and DHCP snooping it's imposible to do using Mikrotik routers and switches. So i forced to use another brand.

LevelOne GVS-3800 works with pretty much every 1.25Gbps SFP you throw at it, just as the FVS-3800 does with 155Mbps SFPs.
Thank you. But I can't find it in Ukraine to buy.
May be there is another model/brand that is presented in Ukraine too??

Media converter for S-3553LC20D modules

Hello!
Anybody knows for sure what is compatible media converter for S-3553LC20D SFP module?
I tried FoxGate EC-SFP1000-GE, but it don't work.
May be it is another brand that will work for sure??

as far as I can see, you just cannot disable it. if Option82 info exists in DHCP request, it will be sent to RADIUS so just set 'use-radius=yes' on your dhcp server and then create radius for service=dhcp Thanks, but what about freeRadius configuration? Do you have/know any examples?? or may be you...

it's how it works: if you don't set lease timeout in RADIUS Access-Accept, then the value from DHCP server settings is used, and no RADIUS Request is made for lease renewals; if you return timeout from RADIUS, then any renews of that lease will require RADIUS authorization - that's what you're look...
