Seamless roaming

Hello Is there a seamless roaming supported by any chance? I don't mean same SSID, this setup causes short interruptions when you roam between 2 AP. True roaming like TPLINK Deco support(802.11r/v/k), where you roam between AP like being in GSM network and no single data interrupt is noticed as long...

Re: Groovies getting smelt

If your devices are propetly grounded and they still getting brokent then something there is wrong. Use good shielded cable, use connectors with ground shield and make sure its connected. Use poe with proper ground (ubnt power supply esd protection work only if u have power socket grounded). Make su...

Re: Groovies getting smelt

Its not faulty grouding installation, most groovie devices have included poe without possibility to ground shield - there is no metal parts on grounding connectors. There is possibility to ground this on own - ground a cable shield directly with additional cable but thats not professional option. My...

I dont understand whats reason of POE kit included where we have NOT shielded sockets, can't prevent discharges without proper shielding/grounding. This is stupid money sav...

Im started having problem after upgrade to 4.11 from 3.11/3.25. I had working link since 1 year, no single downtime, signal -71 on both sides, ccq 80% both, jumps to 65% under heavy loads. Link real performance was 20Mbit/s 2400kB/s while downloading from ftp, bit smaller while uploading. 1 side was...

Re: 37Km Backhaul link with 29Db Jirous Dual-polarized parab

For me it looks like internal interference (propably separation problem), your singnal levels are rly good for this range, try changing cards to normal ones (~100mw), dont use any with amplifiers, they cause more peoblems than benifits if they are in close to each other, then try running test, if st...

Re: is 50 kms non line of sight link possible??

Depends alots, try doing that in N, use highpower cards like 27dbi and 1m antenna least, for 30km link worked for me, 100% ccq, there is only about 300meters of forest which block los.
