Try to uncheck Advertise 1000 Mbps Half and Full settings on the ethernet interfaces of the netmetals so that it negotiates at 100 Mbps. If that works way better, try to play with Tx/Rx Flow control on 1000 Mbps too. Let us know the results. What setting do you have for NV2, TDMA Period ? Try set to...
Yes Wispwest, that is the source of the problem. And it's there since 2012. But hey, it seems that we are just a few who do not provide gigabit ethernet from the core straight to our end customers. Or maybe the other ones are using different vendors?
NOT really. It is giving some improvements but is limiting the throughput to 100 Mbps and this BUG applies even for AC devices.
PLEASE write about this to MikroTik, I already did.
On a SXT Lite5 I have the same problem as Lakis, I was running on 6.22 with 40Mhz width.
Upgraded to 6.23 and did a reset-configuration... still the same.
With 20 Mhz everything ok.
Hey guys, I think I know where the problem comes from: you start from Gigabit ethernet and somewhere on the link you are using Fast ethernet (maybe the end computer). This is a very BIG and OLD ISSUE with nv2 and gigabit that I can't imagine why it is still here. Try this setting for every gigabit d...
Already did that .
Except this issue, I was very pleased with the update.
Is it just me or they seem to also have fixed the problem when nv2 packets passing through gigabit and then fastethernet were heavily slowed down?
I upgraded about 12 links, 5 of them crashed on one side or the other multiple times within 48 hours. 1 affected link between SXTs, 40 Mhz (kernel failures only on the station-bridge side, so maybe TDMA Auto isn't relevant here?) 1 link between SXT r2 1 link between rb433s, 20 Mhz channel 2 link bet...

Same problem here, rb1100ahx2, seems like ignoring the ARP timeout. To make things even worse this bug leads the bridge to flood all the ports with traffic destined for the expired mac addreses. I am running 6.10 and will upgrade to 6.13 - but I don't see in the change logs something related to this...
Are you saying that you set up a test link and did btest for hours and didn't saw this issue? In my opinion that's it all it takes to see this *specific* case. The throughput never goes back once it degrades. Misconfigurations - I personally think are excluded. 7 links, all of them with minimum sett...
On newer releases (or older, same thing) it happens every 1 or 2 hours, on every link that i've tested if the throughput is constant over 40 mbps. I see this behaviour especially on SXTs, but also on rb711G-5HnD (once in a week or so but this week occured 3 times). It only happens when running with ...
And I am back with updates: nv2.jpg Disconnecting the link by clicking the minus sign (-) on the side with low TX CCQ caused a reconnection but the CCQ and rate were still low (not steady 6.5 but oscilating at 6.5-60 Mbps). However, if I disconnected the link from the other side it started working w...
Upgraded to 6.11. Firmware 3.12. The issue is still there just that it has other flavour. It worked well for 30 minutes and then the connection rate (for tx in this specific case) went up and down from 6.5 to 120 Mbps. The RX stayed at 270/300 Mbps. The throughput can be seen in the picture. nv2.jpg...
Until 5.22 the link between my two SXT's with both chains activated used to enter stall mode. After 5.22 stalling was fixed but it entered 6.5 Mbps rate mode. Since then I only use SXT on single chain mode. Is there someone in the world who linked two SXT's for a week with traffic spikes of 40-60 Mb...
Can a SXT device affected by a nearby hit be repaired?
I have two devices that continue to work but occasionally the ethernet port locks up, showing 10 Mbps-half-or-full-duplex and I have to disable/enable it several times and then it works for another 5-6 days.
