Re: One question on BCP L2 tunnel [SOLVED]

Consider using bridge filter rules to implement DHCP snooping manually - you can drop DHCP server responses coming in via ports that are members of an interface list, or reverse, drop them all except those coming in via ports on an access list. The ppp profile permits to make the dynamically create...

One question on BCP L2 tunnel [SOLVED]

Hi all! I'm horsing around a BCP L2 tunnel over L2TP connection. I have a simple configuration — two routers across the Internet with local networks to be combined. First router runs a DHCP server, and I have some DHCP clients on the other side. But as I find out I cant use DHCP snooping on the seco...

Struggled with this almost whole day today until thinked about fasttrack. I have to direct some special connections from LAN through backup WAN. PWR-Line PL7400 - I lived in a lie

I always thought hAP lite (and other such devices) can only receive power through its microUSB port cause there's no schematics for USB-connection or even data line isn't just connected. So I thought there's no possibility to add new interface like a USB-modem. Now it seems I lived in a lie. But mod...

hAP lite has not enough memory at all (hardware failure?) [SOLVED]

Hello everyone! A hAP lite classic (ROS v. 6.40.2 stable) was brought to me with 'not updating problem'. Where's actually no space on flash to upload firmware as expected. But there is no '/flash' directory on the /disk and all files seems are on flash (if there is any). And no gain through Internet...

The vlan interface created on the "host" (client machine) needs to be wrapped in a bridge to allow the change of MAC. Current impl of pass-through (SXT lte kit with 6.42.2) hijacks all traffic by mac (of the host), disregarding the vlan tags. Thank you, sebastia! This important info shoul...

IMHO Mikrotik rushly release hAP lite for too low price and it started to compete with other RBs. Therefor the guys had to reduce its functionality (or higher the price). And they did it in such an elegant way. :)

Hi! Look at that column, there are 1Gbps three times when the rate is restricted by a port. So it should be one-way speed test i.e. rate is ingress OR outgress. In your case (462Mbps) rate is restricted by packet processing performance (37.6 kpps), so the real value depends on a quantity and complex...

NetBox license level is 3 or 4? Product page says 3 and brochure says 4. Should be l4 as it is suggested as AP, but RB911 family traditionally has l3.

Article RB911G-5HPacD-NB seems isn't correct since the device maintains USB at least.

At least it should give some diversity gain to help for bad LOS conditions. Maybe it'll give but also it will make antenna construction at least twice as complex (seems there's no place for third orthogonal feed in a patch antenna unit). There are four models available There did you find this info?

SXT is 2 chains. Where are the 3 chain antennas Sector/CPE? I think the recent RB (953 and apparently 921) are 3-chained primary due to these new chips support MIMO 3x3. Outdoor antenna with 3-chain is meaningless and you should disable 3-rd chain on RB-device in such an installation. In this case ...
