Well now with the new release 6.30:

*) pptp & l2tp & sstp client: support the case were server issues its tunnel
ip address the same as its public one;

this fixed the issue.

What happened that they suddenly fixed it?
because i wasnt able to see any other post regarding that issue.

Hello everyone. I'm using PPPOE connection, and on top of that i'm trying to connect to L2TP server. This ISP i'm connecting to over L2TP has 2 LNS: lets say first one is 5.5.5.5 and 2nd one is 6.6.6.6. nvm, i was able to understand and figure it out my self.
and with that i was able to test my x86 setup.
using 2 more pc running from DOK x86 routerOS.

with P4 3.06Ghz HT, 2GB 800Mhz, HP NC360T Dual Port PCI-E x4
TCP test, 1600Mbit (total 3200Mbit, 360k pps) while the CPU was at only 65%.

based on this page: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_benchmarks test 1 and test 2, does it mean they took 3 routers and test like that? 1 client, 1 router, 1 server? i dont really understand what does it mean "against bridge interface" are they trying to test there the throughput of WAN ...

so i did few tests, please bare with me.
