So, is it true that if I disable wireless on my Mikrotik it doesn't generate any radio signal?

I've just upgraded my RB951G-2HnD from 6.4 to 6.5 and firmware 3.08 to 3.10 without any issue using WebFig.

Powered off wireless and radio signal
Hi, I'd like to know if when wlan1 is disabled on my RB951G-2HnD is the wireless interface switched off and doesn't generate any radio signal. My router is installed in a bedroom (where my son sleeps) and while I don't use wifi connection I would not want any radio signal (when possible, of course) ...
