swOS "Download & Upgrade" failure

Recently grabbed a CRS328-24P-4S+RM switch and am have been playing around with it on the swOS side of things. As I understand it, there is no setting for subnet and/or gateway. This seems to work fine for remote management. But I'm seeing a section under the Upgrade tab that shows a Changelog and a...

Pretty much this.
One can hope that is the case.

We really want:

- Dual Band
- 802.3af/at
- Looks professional (can blend in mounted to a roof or wall in an office, no offensively bright lights on it)

Re: Balance connected customers between AP - s

There's a couple things that you can do to help out. 1. Do a site survey. You'll want to find out where the best placement of the APs is with minimal signal overlap. Adjusting settings like power output will most likely come into play here too. 2. Setup an access list to kick users when they exceed ...

I agree with Jarda. Use wired connections to your APs otherwise you're halfing your bandwidth for clients. And use routing instead of bridging. In this way, you'll limit your broadcast traffic.

Re: Dual subnets, one with guest isolation

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. Is the guest wireless going to be on the same subnet as the office/personnel lan?

It seems like standard firewall rules will apply to keep them separate. If you'd like to enable client isolation, you'll need to unset the "default forward" option on the SSID.

It sounds like you're going to be routing between the vlans on the 2011i unit, so I believe you'll need to use bridges. Create a vlan, create a bridge, then add the vlan and ports 3-5 into the bridge.
