Does anyone tried mikrotik transceiver on a Cisco SW? I have S-3553LC20D and S+31DLC10D but none of them are working I got the following on the Cisco SW.

Gi1/0/1 err-disabled 202 auto auto unsupported

digging something i found this.

When the port eth1 on R2 is in the bridge I can reach AP2 but not AP1. When the eth1 is not in the bridge mode i can ping AP1 but not AP2.


Any idea?

I found the problem. My router was been used as a DNS Server and it has allowed request activate.

This IP are found on Source address, and the destination is the router. On ip firewall connections. I can find different source porte but the destination port is always the same 53. I am getting on torch a lot of traffic upload to this ip:

31.6.71.253
31.6.71.254

But there is no user behind this router, looks like the router is uploading this information.

Does anyone know what service is uploading? or Why is this?

It is general because i allways desiging networks.

In some places clients will use lot of vlan, other queue (simple or tree) other could be using routing protocols, etc.

The best answer will be.

example:

queue tree: 80% CPU 10% ram
BGP protocol: 90% Ram 10% CPU

or things like this.

If i got you right, the DCHP Server is your device and you are trying to get the dinamic ip on wan port of mikrotik.

You have to enable the interface under
/ip dhcp-client

Otherwise please send me a diagram an copy the result of /export.

You only have to nat on the border router (router connected to isp). Because you are using ospf and it is full implemented, you should not need nat on all the devices behind, because BR knows how too reach the other devices. I really don't like masquerade because you really don't know what is happen...

Think that you will not be able to connect the mikrotik outside your office if you have a private ip, maybe if you ask the isp to give you an port fowarding. But not sure if they would like. About fortinet really don't know about it, but some devices show they public ip no matter you have an private...

The problem is that your graphs on mrtg are on bytes and on webgui are on bits.
