No not running any web proxy , also switched off all local logging and not running user manager yet this still happens

I have very high CPU usage on my RB750 which causes kernel failure reboots, tried various routerOS versions

Upgraded a RB600 to 4.16, and replaced an Alfa card with a r52hn with new pigtails all round, clients have good signal to the new card, but pppoe sessions don't seem complete or last long if they authenticate, completely reset the the card twice and re-setup from scratch, still same problem, Put bac...

I am currently using sstp on 5beta6 and everything runs smoothly, apart from the small memory leak, it works 150% better than my OVPN tunnels which i ran between my rb450's

Receive traffic at a rate of 220 Mbps without reason.
Yep exactly whats happening, no cable connected to the ethernet port, yet there is traffic runinng for
no reason

I have the following problem on a ether with no cable connected

If i dissable and enable the interface it begins doing it again after a few seconds.

Any Ideas as to what could be the problem ?

i also have the same symptoms, also replaced everyting and the SR2 card twice, then replaced it with 8602 card, The 8602 card gives high ping times to clients, so i think the solution is to add a second AP on the board and split up the clients, because im running 60+ clients on one ap. I reckon this...

I had the same problem with 2 differnet sr 2 cards, clients came back up for about a day then disconnect, I then have to disable and enable the card about 50 times then the clients started coming back, I even replaced the card with new one and same problem, then earthed the card to the tower, though...

This might help

Do a frequency usage scan on the AP interface, then select a frequency that is less used.

I had a similar problem and this sorted the problem 8)

I flew 1400km on short notice to come and sort out the problem

I'm going to change the daughterboard with a 502 and if problem still persists
going to change R52 cards with Compex Cards

This seems to be a power issue, the reason for this is if I disable the the 2 sr cards and the other r52 card the router runs fine,so im gonna take out the poe and give it straight power and see what happens

I have changed the routerboard on that specific site, was running fine for about 45 minutes then same error again, updated to latest routerOS and same problem, haven't updated firmware as yet. :x

OK upgraded firmware to 2.6 on routerboard and still same problem

Any suggestions anyone??? :idea:

The problem seems to be the R52 cards on the backbone links, as soon as there flows data n get ping time outs from the interfaces, and after a few minutes it comes back. :shock:

Latest RouterOs loaded 2.9.40, after reboot no wireless devices found, so rebooted again with antennas disconnected and wireless devices were there, so i connected the antennas up one by one and still running, too scared to reboot. Router Reboots

Hi

I get the following error on one of my routers

system,error,critical router was rebooted without proper shutdown by watchdog timer

It keeps on rebooting the whole time.

Anyone know how to fix, I already treid switching of watchdog timer, then router does not come back.

You need to set the different IP Pools on the mikrotik, then just specify the pools in freeradius.
