+1 in need of a 24 port SFP switch with at least 2 x SFP+. Preferably with e.g a dual core processor.

Re: Any new CRS switches comming out soon?

The CRS226 is exactly what you're describing...24x 1 Gbps ports with 2x SFP+ 10 Gbps ports. What we really need is something with 12x or more SFP+ 10 Gbps ports, a switch with 48x 1 Gbps ports, or even 24x 1 Gbps with 4x 10 Gbps ports. Of course, with any of these, we'd also like simple features fo...

Any new CRS switches comming out soon?

Hi

Anyone know if Mikrotik is working on some fibre aggregation Layer 2 and 3 switches ?

e.g 24 port 1gbps SFP + at least 2 x 10Gbps SFP uplinks?

e.g to compete with Extreme Networks, Edgecore etc.

Re: v6.33rc release candidate (final testing)

Normis - Is trafficflow fixed? We are implementing a CCR1072 at our core, and want to run the latest ROS - however we are still using 6.27 on our CCR1036 due to the trafficflow egress ingress issue in the later versions. Can you confirm this has been 100% fixed, I know it's listed in the changelogs ...

I see in the change logs this has been "solved". Can anyone confirm in the latest ROS the ingress and egress is working correctly for trafficflow?

Re: CCR-1072 release date?

your point are rigth, for example if you dont need the 10 gig just plug a switch with one 10g port and the 1g port count of your need
Yup that is always an option, but I was more thinking of e.g connecting our existing CCR1036's to the 1072, which we can now do.

Re: CCR-1072 release date?

Can anyone confirm that the 10Gbps interfaces can run the 1Gbps fibre modules? i think its better to use only 10g modules All very well, but not all our devices are 10gbps capable. Re: 5Hz Equipment recomendation Q

There is a gap in the Mikrotik equipment for a cost comparative product. There is the QRT5, but around 80% more expensive than a powerbeam/nanobridge, it is also a panel antenna. My recommendation would be a basebox5 + Antenna. Still more expensive than a powerbeam/nanobridge, but depending on the a...

Since we split our routing, i.e ospf/firewall rules/queues etc on one router and BGP on another CCR it has been running great.

Hi

Anyone running these yet? Our suppliers do not have stock yet.

I would love to know what speeds/latency you are getting on <10km P2P links. And if possible a QRT5 to e.g a RB912 dual polarised sector.

Thanks

we never enabled a watchdog on any MT router should I do it, on the bgp ccr? can I safely assume that, if I enable watchdog, next time that the ccr will have a BIG problem, it will reboot by itself, instead of crashing and needing somebody run there to power cycle it? of course, I would be happier,...

This question seems to come up a lot in the MikroTIk forums and I'm curious to see what different types of CCR BGP deployments are out there as well as the experience of the end user. Some users seem to have no issues with multiple public feeds and some aren't stable on only one feed. So.... 1) Wha...

What did CPU utilization for BGP look like during these outages?
I suspect it was this however it happened so quickly we could not check in real time. Our ccr usually ran at around 4-5%, however on the cacti graphs before a reboot I could see it hitting 70%. I know in V6 bgp is not multicore....
