If you want to do your guest users a favour, apply WPA2-security and embed the password in the SSID, e.g. The password is: free internet

i have a 960PGS up on the roof, 5 gigabit ports, 1 poe in, 4 poe out.
in one of the ports i have connected a UBNT LiteBeam 5AC 23.
I works ok, but at 100Mbps. Maybe its the cable..

960PGS connection to my home router is at 1Gbit..

ok, lets take another look... Mynet-A RouterBOARD 750G r3 is connected to the next router via ethernet cable. Mynet-A has 16 pingable devices, including computers, phones, etc.. Mynet-B 960PGS is connected to the next router via wireless. Can ping all 16 pingable devices, from Mynet-A Mynet-C CRS125...

i finally did it..

4 pptp connections between 2 routers, using 4 dsl lines,
4 eoip tunnels, a bonding interface.. and it works !!
strange thing is that it goes up and down, like it has a pattern, but at least works..

Maybe the cable is of the wrong type or too long (for the type of cable). 1Gbit has more strict requirements than 100Mbit and that has more strict requirements than 10Mbit. i had this pair on air the last 10 years..
once i changed the pcb's inside, because they failed..
yesterday, the plastic case became dust when i attempted to get them down..

it had something to do with web proxy.. it had more than 1800 directories with this name web-proxy-1, -2, etc..
