Re: Running IPv6 on Mikrotik? You're out of business in 12 days time

This is a total disaster for mikrotik's future if they do not fix, before customer impact. EVERYTHING we deploy last years have ipv6, most are ipv6 only, some dualstack

Re: SIIT support / thoughts

Some comment from mikrotik would be nice. there is a lot of features that are becoming desperatly needed if you are going to use mikrotik things like: (in order of importance (for me) ) SIIT-DC NAT64 CLAT (464XLAT) MAP-T MAP-E lw4o6 probably some more that i forgot. most of these things have open so...

Re: [Feature Request] IPv6 Fasttrack

+1 obviously in critical demand in the modern world. everything we deploy nowadays is ipv6 with some ipv4 workaround/nat solution.

Re: VPLS problem

thank you for this, i ran into the same problem today.

the text on perhaps a mention on https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:BGP_based_VPLS
makes it sound like bgp is a ldp replacement, while it must be an addon. and that ldp is a prerequisite

Re: IPv6 recursive nexthops via iBGP

is there any updates on this incredibly critical part of the puzzle ? is there no other option that just avoiding using mikrotik for routing ? there is nothing we deployed without ipv6 nowadays. But plenty that we deploy as ipv6 only. and CCR would be a excellent fit is so many cases. but this is a ...

Re: ROS 7 Beta

since mikrotik plays the cards close, everything I write is just gusstimates and assumptions.. But I belive part of the problem is that they are aming for a continuously moving target, the linux kernel and tooling are developed in a rapid pace. and there are new things in networking all the time. ta...

Re: ROS 7 Beta

when support@ writes to me, they allways make it sound like Ros 7 is something that is in development and will be ready sometime. (specifically my issues will be fixed in the future) And ofcourse it may be in development, and it will probably be released eventually . But since this have been going o...

Re: ROS 7 Beta

The single biggest reason i want Ros7 is that every time i ask mikrotik support for something.. they answer "this will be fixed in version 7" so mikrotik support use "version 7" as the "wont fix"/get rid of this annoying ticket. this leads to all our problems will be fixed in version 7 and hence eve...
