That is a very poor design, we use DC/DC 48V–>24V for powering netpower 16P and we have optical connection between 48V and 24V system on site, this helps a lot. At other side I hope a lot too. Yes it is 5470-5725Mhz , but it is commonly referred to as I wrote. (fully channels) If Mikrotik wants to restrict use of superchannels, they have to follow ETSI/CZ rules at least. They don't. They push us to not using "czech_republic" settings, if we wants to be comply with our laws rules.

Why this is forced? According to EU law ... it is not a obligatory for equipment provider, it is obligatory for company who runs it. So please let us chose, what we want to set up on your hardware/software and do not put this restrictions. Can you please explain why you put this restrictions on?

Set priority is not only useful for NV2: - It is used to apply MPLS experimental bits for MPLS QoS - It is used to apply VLAN priority for other vendor wireless systems that use VLAN priority for QoS - Set priority from DSCP high order bits option allows you to handle all 64 DSCP values in QoS with...

Re: My IPv6 Triage List for ROS

Not all possible. I don't want to have to set up queue trees for radio links (AirFiber and NV2) where the modulation can change and overall throughput fluctuates, and so then you are doing QoS to a moving target. It is better to use the strict priority queueing that the radio offers in each case, b...

The IX infrastructure doesn't do BGP. It just does basic Ethernet. Many (most) do have route servers that do run BGP, but those are best ran on servers, not routers. Brocade, Juniper, Arista, Cisco, Huawei ... do you really mean "servers" ? Sorry maybe we talking about two other things, i...

Re: R52Hn squeak

It's power source based, just try to change your power adapter for another one.

Re: Hot new Mikrotik Radio Card - R52Hn

You can compare, same site just change R5H to R52Hn on AP side. FYI noise floor before -97dBm and noise floor after -110dBm. As you can see signals drop sometime around 5-7dBm. AP ROS4.9, most of CPE ROS4.5 before - R5H (5GHz-a mode) R5H.jpg after same time for signal settling - R5Hn (5GHz-a/n mode)...

Re: ROS4.9 and Hotspot Bridge multiple RB433 Problem

I have been having similar issues for a couple months now. We use Hotspot with Walled Garden for website Whitelisting at our 300+ locations. Hotspot running on a router with wireless bridged to ethernet ports causes random issues constantly. Mikrotik recommend using RSTP (among a lot of failed reco...

Re: 802.11n station pseudobridge hotspot problem

Sergejs, I try to use station-pseudobridge-clone and same problem apears. If I have 5GHZ-a everything works well, if I have 5GHz-n IT IS NOT WORKING I have one more experience: everything working with no-HT (max. 54Mbps) synchronisation, but if cards have for example 65Mbps-HT it stop working. pleas...

Re: 802.11n station pseudobridge hotspot problem

There should not be any differences for pseudobridge station operation for different bands! Yes I guess there should not be differences, but IT IS :) as I describe before, AP ROS4.9, CPE ROS 4.5 .. If have on both sides 5GHz-a everything work well :) if I have 5GHz-N it is not working .. I can comm...

Re: 802.11n station pseudobridge hotspot problem

pseudobridge "learns", which IP address belongs to the specific MAC-address and makes translations particularly. When AP receives packets, it sees that packets were from station (check ARP table at the AP). When station receives packets, it changes destination by IP->MAC table, it looks f...

Re: 802.11n station pseudobridge hotspot problem

Station-pseudobridge changes MAC-addresses dynamically. Use station-pseudobridge-clone and set MAC-address, if you want to be it permanent. Sergejs, I use in my network around 2000 CPE and never seen that station-pseudobridge change MAC dynamically. Sorry for my coment, but I dont want to argue, I'...

BEFORE N ..... AP is in mode 5GHz-a/n and CPE 5GHz-a only .. as you see .. both CPE (RB411 X.X.147.245) and PC (X.X.147.243) have same MAC address .. before.jpg AFTER N ... AP is in mode 5GHz-a/n and CPE 5GHz-n only ... as you see CPE (RB411 X.X.147.245) have same MAC adress, but MAC address of PC i...

Re: 802.11n station pseudobridge hotspot problem

Tomas, there should not be difference for mode=pseudobridge operation for 5GHz a or 5GHz a/n operation. Station pseudobridge selects MAC-address automatically, which is used for the client. If only-a works, n should work too (check whether wireless link is established properly). Hi, it's no problem...

802.11n station pseudobridge hotspot problem

Hi, maybe I'm doing something wrong. When I use on my AP 5GHz-a/n (R52Hn) and on my client 5GHz-a/n (R52N) and I have client bridged and associated as station pseudobridge, and I have to running Hotspot on AP there is problem with MAC address. I have to seen on my Hotspot hosts, not regular MAC addr...

Re: Bruteforce login prevention

So Can I just copy and paste this? Are there additional notes. I am remote and I do not want to deny myself. I don't see any lines that suggest I won't be denied as well. Thanks, JR just put this line on ip/firewall/filter chain=input action=drop connection-state=new src-address-list=!TRUSTED in-in...

I'm waiting for this too. We should be able to remove the IPv4 stack and still have a fully working router.

The more urgent is Winbox support and PPPoE IPv6 support.
I vote for it,tooo....
