A lot of us have fleets of CCR2004 we cannot use or if we are using them they are so unstable but we cannot go to v7 without BFD!

I have the same and SR-IOV also doesnt work for me.

SR-IOV is working fine only on Mikrotik 7.1. It doesn't work anymore on Mikrotik versions 7.2 - 7.6.

Same issue here, and if I use iommu passthrough , the interfaces also does come up for some reason, also using Intel X710 cards

Maybe known already but couldn't find it mentioned. The simple queue limits is a 32-bit unsigned int so the maximum bw limit one can specify is 4294967295 (~4.29Gbit/s). Same bug in 6.x . Please fix :)

We also require this feature on the switch chip, basically to only allow the number of mac's configured on a port, any new devices conencted the switch chip just drops the traffic

I have problem with "Reconnect" button after the connection was lost: after clicking it, the Winbox window disappear. According to log, login to router was successful, but automatically disconnected after 30 seconds. (never happened in 3.13)

Yea sure that will work but cant see that that is the correct way to do this as you loose the hardware off...

This is quite a big failing.

IF the chipset supports it mikrotik should implement the support in either routeros or swos.

I agree with this frustration. Why continue to add features to v6? Rather focus on Bug fixes and focus all efforts on getting v7 released, We see almost weekly issue that the famous line is used. IT will be fixed in v7
Well v7 is a myth, we haven't seen any alpha versions or any proof it even exists.

I would also prefer to run this on Bare metal rather than VM,

What real advantage do we get from CHR apart from more that 2GB of ram? I have not seen Fastpath or anything like that? We Run Proxmox / KVM and tried with virtio interface and vmxnet3.

Please can you assist in resolving my issue, for some reason I cannot connect to routers using Winbox and the router MAC, I get this error below, but I can connect to the router if it has a IP.
