I think i had figured out what was going on. 1 of my customer who having a messy network bridging different vLAN with the cable. There might be a loop in their network and having the STP sending out to the router. I just don't understand why the STP will affect the router. as 1) i'm not using any br...

Thr 3rd CCR, Initially, on 3.11+6.7 and died during configuration. Upgrade to 3.22+6.28 still not working. Share the same behavior as the rest of CCR.
Was the 3rd router also upgraded to 6.28 and 3.22 ?

Frankly speaking, testing I had done. But you will not do load test at such condition as a end user. This is the job for vendor to test in different senerio. Sorry to hear about all your troubles....as others have said, it is usually a best practice to test code for critical environments before depl...

Re: Fastpath on vlan interface.

Yes, fast path is enabled, but you see there are no packet going through the fastpath channel because you have the vlan enabled. if you turn off the vLAN, you will able to see the fastpath counter increasing. Re: Disater ... all router dies at the sametime...

I was trying to use fastpath but not fast tract. agreed with you fast tract is new, don't want to take the risk. Fastpath was there since early release of 6.xx. I suspect the incident is related to the BGP, where when i reboot the CCR and hitting the issue. the old routing table still there, maybe b...

The log file was too big aa require to enable the debug mode. At anyway, I had managed the issue by not using the aggregate function on the bad router, and redistribute the aggregated prefix from other good router. Need to schedule the reboot sometime, as if the goos router become bad, I will lost a...

BGP aggregate prefix

Hi I just experienced a problem on advertised prefix flapping in my bgp connection to upstream. I have a pair of ccr1036, each of them running 3 full route, and exchange the route using 2 x delicates port and 2 bgp sessions to exchange route between two. And I had breakdown my /22 subnet into multip...

BGP Multicore Load Balancing

Hello I'm using the CCR1036 for a year, on 6.7 everything is very good so far. I had used BGP, VRRP, VLAN, Traffic Flow, IPv4 & IPv6. The only compliant that i have is the BGP multicore load balancing, as we are having around 40 peers, sometime the BGP instance dies and mess-up the table. Anytim...

Hello, We are seeing something strange.. We tag certain prefixes announced to us with bgp communities, eg. 11280:115 etc. (ROS ver 5.21 as well as 5.26) We use these communities in our bgp filters for prefix announcements. e.g. chain=out-filter match-chain=XYZ invert-match=no action=accept set-bgp-...
