Re: SOLVED: IPTV on vlan and IGMP Proxy

Sorry, can't tell you. I stopped using the MT for IGMP. Had to place a Fritzbox infront of the MT to full use the IPTV properly :-(

Re: Unable to upgrade RB4011 [SOLVED]

I'd try with beta version of netinstall (6.44beta61), it just might work. If you want to run stable ROS, you can still downgrade from beta after successful netinstall ...
Using the beta version, the upgrade worked fine.
Thanks !!!!

Ok, but netinstall does not work too.
Please check my youtube link in my first post.

The npk package is offered to my MT, but not installed.

Unable to upgrade RB4011 [SOLVED]

Hi, i have an RB4011 with 6.43.4. I tried to upgrade the usual online way to 6.43.8 and by uploading the new 6.43.8 files manually to the device. The device restarts, but i'm still on the old Software version: [admin@MikroTik] /system package> print Flags: X - disabled # NAME VERSION SCHEDULED 0 ntp...

Is there a tcpdump or similar on windows?
Maybe check if udp packets are coming from your MT.

Hi, i added some functionalities for Capsman logging. Maybe this will be helpful for someone. I'm not a Mikrotik neither Splunk expert !! ;-) Maybe you will find some errors. Please let me know. But at least this works fine here. Settings->Sourcetype->Mikrotik->Advanced->Add: Name: EXTRACT-mikrotik_...

No, 100% not encrypted! I installed "udpxy" on my NAS. udpxy is a UDP-to-HTTP multicast traffic relay daemon: it forwards UDP traffic from a given multicast subscription to the requesting HTTP client Using this proxy, the stream works fine in VLC using http stream. But i don't understand w...

Problem IGMP-Proxy and Multicast UDP IPTV Stream

Hi, My ISP provides pppoe and IPTV stream on vlan35. So i added one Vlan35 Iface and put pppoe on this Iface. The vlan35 has ip 10.10.10.10 (apparently the Fritzbox normally used by my ISP has the same IP on vlan35). Additionally, i configured IGMP-Proxy on the Vlan35 Iface as upstream, and another ...
