Re: RB912UAG-2HPnD-OUT with miniPCI-e card turn wifi off

So my actions are:
1) Connect antennas to wlan1 and wlan2 cards
2) Turn on Mikrotik
3) disable wlan2 interface
4) Turn off Mikrotik
5) disconnect antenna from wlan2 card
6) Turn on Mikrotik with wlan1 antenna connected

Thanks!

SNMP OID and VLAN

Hello. I have a question about SNMP values. I've got Mikrotik RB751 and I got SNMP values on ether2 port such as ifInOctets.2 or ifOutOctets.21 (speed per second) I made a graph on Zabbix with this values. Now I've got VLAN interface on physical ether2 (ifInOctets.2) interface. VLAN SNMP values is c...

Re: Ping results to log

The code looks fine to me. I am pretty sure that avg-rtt is only available from flood-ping and I would certainly use flood-ping. Thanks! Can you tell me please how can i get "TIME" value in my script when I use this command (not "flood-ping" , just "ping": [admin@MikroTik] > ping 192.168.0.1 count=...

Mikrotik telnet don't work

Hello. I have Mikrotik RB Metal 2SHPn. It's working as wifi client and connected to another RB Metal 2SHPn. I've made reboot script every 24h because 'wifi part' of Mikrotik lost connection and don't respond. Then I reconfigured Mikrotik but forgot about reboot script. Now it's lost connection again...

Re: Mikrotik and Zabbix SNMP based on interface name

The Zabbix default "Template SNMP Device" does just that, looking up interface names from the ifDescr table so you don't need to worry about the SNMP indexes. It also automatically discovers all of your interfaces and monitors them. I'm tried to add The Zabbix default "Template SNMP Device". But wh...

Re: Mikrotik and Zabbix SNMP based on interface name

AFAIK last number in these OIDs is physical interface number, so 'ether-1' is .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10. 1 and so on. Maybe your WAN interface on other RouterBoards is not configured on 'ether-1' hence differences. HTH, Yeah.. thats the problem. Sometimes I configured mikrotik with import configuration...

Re: Reboot when no wifi network available

You can do some testing in a few ways. Paste these into the terminal. Return how many clients are in registration table: :put [:len [/interface wireless registration-table find]] Add some additional checks for testing, only pause for a few seconds, reboot line commented out { :local numClients [:le...

Re: Reboot when no wifi network available

The script you mentioned won't do what you want... it gets the last-activity value of associated client number 0, which doesn't exist if there are no associated clients. You would be better off doing something like the following scirpt. It finds how many items are in the registration table, and if ...
