Re: CRS326Q-24S+2Q+ packet drops

Are these PC-s have only single connection to the switches?
Yes, simple built-in gigabit NIC on consumer MBO.

If it's significant, there is one server in network that we connected directly to core switch with double qsfp+ and teamed it's NIC on Windows server side (not on Mikrotik side).

Re: CRS326Q-24S+2Q+ packet drops

Well, it's just default SwOS configuration... We have few more interesting discoveries. Here is our setup and explanation. We connected 10 CSS326-24G-2S+ with sfp+ to core CRS326Q-24S+2Q+ switch. All of them are on default SwOS. On each CSS326-24G-2S+ we connected 10 to 20 PCs with 1G copper. We run...

Re: CRS326Q-24S+2Q+ packed drops

Maybe CPU is high when you loose those pings ?
Switch becomes unresponsive in that period of time so it's not possible to check it.

CRS326Q-24S+2Q+ packet drops

Hello all, We have a setup with CRS326Q-24S+2Q+ as our core switch. We booted SwOS to it. When pinged in LAN it has 23% packed loss and average ping 10ms (from 1 ms to 2022ms). Every few minutes (random time span) it completely stops forwarding packets for 2-5 seconds. I have no idea how to debug it...

Re: IGMP Snooping

Per my understanding, IGMP snooping still doesn't work with CRS switches, right?
What about IGMP querier functionality that is also on most switches that are used for multicast video, is that planned too?

Re: NTP server refusing requestes?

Looks like rdate is not NTP client but old Time Protocol. Qoute from Wikipedia: Rdate uses the Time Protocol. The Time Protocol is generally considered obsolete and has been replaced by the Network Time Protocol (NTP). That is why it didn't worked as expected. I've tried with ntpd and it works. So, ...

Re: Masquerade public IP to private?

Otherwise please clarify what you want to do. As I said in the first post, I'm trying to ssh in one PC in network, from outside, so from some random public IP. Its easy to make dstnat to forward that traffic from public.ip:some_port to server.ip:ssh_port. Now, I want to masquerade that random publi...

This is what I've done so far: Nat rule #1: Chain: dstnat Dst. address: my.public.ip.address Dst. port: 1022 Protocol: 6 (tcp) In interface: WAN #my wan interface Action: dst-nat To address: 10.0.0.10 #thats sever that I want to ssh in To port: 22 That is actually working. So, I tried to follow your...

Masquerade public IP to private?

I'm not an expert, so please be gentle :) I need to ssh to one PC in network, from outside. I know how to make NAT rule to forward that connection with dst-nat. Now, the question is how to make that public IP to change to private, so PC thinks that I'm in his network. Similar is done with masquerade...
