Re: [MAC] requires more rates than we support

It doesn't make any sense to impose any limits on station. As @bpwl wrote, station has to follow whatever AP requests. And if connection allows advanced (g/n) communication, it will mostly be used, so possible lower rates won't be used anyway. Yes. Sure. It was interesting, why it not connect. For ...

Re: travel router

@bpwl Yes, unfortunately so far you need two devices (one as AP, and one as client) to be able to connect and modify. I have my 7" tablet and my smartphone. The laptop would be no problem as this one has ethernet. But I travel light. Even opening the WAN WLAN interface will not help. The WLAN ...

Re: v6.48.5 [long-term] is released!

I still think it is a bad policy to release a new version in the stable channel and declare it the long-term version at the same time. You should move versions to the long-term channel only after they have proven to be free of obvious issues in the stable channel for some time. (I know that long-te...

Re: ccr1009 low performance at BT server udp/random, send

MikroTik device performance is only specified for external traffic being forwarded by the device. When you run BT server on the device itself, you will not have this performance. You need 2 more devices (either more CCR or some PC) which make the traffic that you forward through the CCR and D52G to...

How you doing
/user ssh-keys import user=
Mean ?
After import pub key, You cannot login from another machine (account) by ssh by the password (not priv key). To change it in ROS - solution in sec post '/ip ssh set always-allow-password-login=yes'

Re: CRS version of CCR1072-1G-8S+

+1 in need of a 24 port SFP switch with at least 2 x SFP+. Preferably with e.g a dual core processor. The processor won't make any difference unless you're bridging or routing, which is not the intended purpose of the CRS devices. Personally, I'd rather see a 24 port SFP+ switch, or an upgraded CRS...
