Re: TP Link Repeater RE450 not assigning IP address

Thanks, this is the same thing I ended up doing. I have the RE450 connected to a wAP AC. wAP AC serves as a dhcp server from 192.168.100-200 and the RE450 also serves as a dhcp server from 201-254. The wAP AC runs bridge filter and prevents the DHCP packages to cross over between eachother. Really u...

Re: TP Link Repeater RE450 not assigning IP address

I have the exact same problem with a Mikrotik wAP AC (configured as AP) and a D-Link RE450(configured as a repeater).

Wireless clients of RE450 never receives a ip-address and the wAP AC just lists them as offered in log for 30secs and then times out.

Did you get a fix or workaround for this?

I would try to swapping out the power supply\adapter, just to eliminate this.

Re: CCR IPSec performance

It may be that the CCR in my setup, would have preformed better with GRE instead of EoIP, have not tested.

Alternatily, if I had added serveral connections over the same tunnel, I also think througput would improve.

Re: CCR IPSec performance

Hello I have a couple of CCR1009, each on their seperate location. Both with WAN 150/150Mbit Fiber. I have a IPSec with EoIP tunnel between the CCR's, running the latest 6.33.1 with latest firmware. When I try to push rsync backup, routed between these unit, it maxes out on around 50Mbit over EoIP o...

Re: CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ fans not work?

Hi, I see the same on one of my CCR's. O

I think the reason is that the fan(s) are temperature controlled, and your temperature is to low for the fan to start. I see that as soon the cpu temperature is around 53-55 degees the fan seem to start on my device.

Yes, however this is a forum and a block diagram would be a bit more official and specific. Since this is such an interesting product, I am eagerly and impatient… :)

Re: SFP-10G-LR Doesn't work on CRS

Hello, I am currently using a SFP-10G-LR in a CRS226, linked toward a CCR. This setup has worked fine the last 6-8months. The SFP+ is a Fiberworks module, but is Cisco coded(was originally supposed to be used in a Catalyst 4500-e switch), but works fine with all Mikrotiks I have tested it with. Rega...

Re: How to migrate from RG493G to CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN?

I usually export the running configuration to a file: - Log into terminal on your exisiting device - Run the command export file=config.cfg - Copy the config.cfg file to your computer(drag and drop from winbox) - Open the file on your computer - Past the configuration lines you want into the termina...

Re: GRE over IPSEC, CCR, VERY SLOW

Hello, I just did a test now EoIP(encrypted IPSec 3des), both sites running running CCR-1009-8G-1S-1S+ v6.20, 3.19 firmware. Seems that only one CPU core handles the traffic(100% on one core, 0% on the rest), top speed over the EoIP tunnel maxes out on approx 43Mbps... Will this get sorted out? Or w...

Re: CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ SFP question

Hi,

I'm using CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ with a pair of Cisco GLC-T 1000BASE-T SFP transceiver modules, works great. Gives me 2 addtional RJ45 gbit ports ;) On a secondary site om using GLC-LX modules, also works.

So I would say yes, the SFP+ port supports the 'only SFP' transcievers.

What does this actually mean to real life performance? What are the downsides of having a L2 MTU of 1506?

Re: RB850Gx2 - Release date?

I'm considering placing this at multiple locations(remote offices), and establishing IPsec site-to-site to the HQ CCR's. Do this offer AES hw encryption?

Is it possible for you do a IPsec pass through test(1518byte, AES-256) and report back som numbers?

Keep up the good work :)

Re: RB850Gx2 - Release date?

I am extremely curious about how this unit performs in terms of VPN(IPSEC). I guess it will handle most home connections in terms of NAT. However most routers are not able to saturate connectons over IPsec, but I hope this little bad boy does :) I would love if somebody can pressent some VPN perform...

Re: Finally RB953GS-5HnT is available!

Any tests or indication of what the IPSEC AES-128 througput will be on this unit? Using 433AH today, and we get roughtly around 20-25Mbits throug ipsec. But the last cuple of months we have upgraded our sites, and I am now looking to get higher speeds(40-75Mbit) over IPSEC. Considering to use RB953G...

Re: CCR-1036-12G-4S and 1000T SFPs

I have a CCR1009, and im using 1000BaseT adapters in both the SFP+ and SFP port. Works great!

The type I use is a Fiberworks GLC-T. And its essentially uoriginal SFP, thats programmet to work with Cisco switches. (on Ciscos 3750 switches it shows up as a original Cisco SFP).

Re: CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ General info & Questions

This also happends to me, on both SFP+ and the SFP port, with all the modules I have tested.

However I'm not sure if matters or affects the CCR, can't say that I have encountered any strange behavior other that the sound itself. Maybe just a voltage drop, that gets readjusted after a while?
