CAPsMAN with VLAN not working properly

What I am trying to achieve and failing to do so is to have a DHCP server that would serve IPs to my LAN and to CAPsMAN clients while being in a single VLAN. All clients in this VLAN should be able to reach each other while isolated from other VLANs. So far I was able to make it work for CAPsMAN onl...

Re: v6.42rc [release candidate] is released!

Is CAPsMAN's VLAN implementation going to be fixed to work with the new bridge implementation? Now PVID seems to be used over VLAN and therefore makes CAPsMAN a little unusable.

Re: 6.41rc66 Bridge VLAN Filtering and CAPs with VLAN tags.

I also need "PVID" to be implemented in CAPsMAN because without it VLAN can't be used. Developers must have forgotten about CAPsMAN which is sad. I have a rather large implementation which is unusable now.

Re: 6.41rc66 Bridge VLAN Filtering and CAPs with VLAN tags.

I am experiencing the very same thing. CAPsMAN's VLAN setting seem to be useeless at this point as PVID seems to be used instead. I have not been able to make this work.

[Bug, 6.36rc37] Unable to set/edit Outgoing Interface list in NAT table

When I create a firewall rule in NAT table that should masquerade outgoing WAN interfaces (by means of Outgoing Interfaces list), the list is set to the default value when the rule is saved. To reproduce: /interface list add name=WAN /interface list member add interface=ether01 list=WAN /interface l...

multiple DHCP relays on same networks with clients' roaming

I have been trying to solve an issue where I have one router and one AP, both from Mikrotik. There are 2 networks in the wild with DHCP servers being set up in the router. The AP connected with a cable would need to work as a DHCP relay but on the same networks so it would allow a flawless roaming o...

Assign virtual IP to a device on different LAN

My Mikrotik device has 2 connection to the outside world, from 2 ISPs. The network where Mikrotik resides is 172.16.2.0/24, however, the 2 devices that connect to ISPs reside on different networks. Both devices use DHCP and lie in networks 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24, and they assign to my Mik...
