Re: my router is under attack

I still have problem with the router. I deleted everything, made a configuration reset but I'm not able to upgrade or downgrade the RouterOS. Current version on the router is 6.33.3. I tried downgrade to 6.0 and 6.30 and upgrade to 6.43.2 but after each restart the version is still 6.33.3 How can i ...

I disabled Telnet and SSH.
I deleted admin account and created new one with full rights.
I changed the Router Id from Mikrotik to something else.

my router is under attack

I noticed in the router log that for a couple of days my router is constantly attacked from different iP addresses with unauthorized login attempts. What do you recommend me to do in this case? It's the first time i experience this and i'm just a basic user of mikrotik routers. Thank you. (6487 mess...

faulty components on RB750

My iSP sent a team of technicians to replace the entire network of cables on my street. Without notice, they just cut the cables while one of my routers was powered up and working. This damaged my RB750. The malfunctions is the following: The router is working only if port1 is not connected (the WAN...

Re: RB750 hardware failure

Finally i received one iC LSP5502 and replaced the faulty one. After the power up i was forced to do a reset because i was unable to access the router but after the reset and backup restore the router is working fine. It seems that only iC LSP5502 was the problem.

Re: PPPoE failed on RB951-2n (constantly connect and disconnect)

I downgraded the routeros to v6.32.3 (stable release) but stil no fix. PPPoE is constantly connecting/terminating . For the moment i can only access internet by connecting the external cable directly to my PC and using Win10 PPPoE client . I still can't draw the conclusion what is the problem... ?! ...

Re: PPPoE failed on RB951-2n (constantly connect and disconnect)

After further investigation i find out the following: my iSP is providing internet service over dual stack IPv4/IPv6 PPPoE server . Clients who use router labeled with IPv6 via PPPoE + DHCPv6 PD should have no problem accesing internet service. So for the moment i think i should reconfigure my route...

Re: PPPoE failed on RB951-2n (constantly connect and disconnect)

I keep searching for a solution and i discovered that iSP is allocating me v4 and v6 iP. Is it maybe possible that iPv4 to be the problem and iPv6 to work properly ? This is a screenshot from my Network Connection Details when my cable is pluged directly into PC and a screenshoot from http://whatism...

I tested today with another router (TP-Link). The behaviour is almoust similar. TP-Link router remain connected but display error message "No interbet acces" in system tray. Because Win10 DialUp PPPoE works fine, only routers have problem connecting i start to draw the conclusions that pro...

The situation is very strange, I am aware of that. Let me summarize again the behavior: http://i.imgur.com/V2dOO8F.jpg There is no internet access on any device connected to RB951-2n. In LOG there are constant connecting and terminating entries. This is not a new installation, with this configuratio...

3 months ago I setup my new RB750 Router and today i encountered a hardware failure on him. Re: Basic setup of Mikrotik RouterBOARD 750 router

Thank you very much Rudios . You made things now clear to me. So the settings are correct only if web server is accessed outside the LAN. I tested outside the LAN and it works. I can access the web server with the local iP, that's no problem for me. I accessed it with the WAN iP only to test if port...
