Re: v7.8rc is released!

You seriously need to upgrade the ZeroTier package!!! There have been so many bug fixes and new features since September 2021.. This release is a year and a half old!!

At this point, adding ZeroTier seems only like a marketing gimmick which a lot of people, including myself, fell for...

ZeroTier Version Upgrade

Is the ZeroTier package going to get an upgrade anytime soon? It is running the client version 1.6.6 which is over a year old and the current version is 1.10.2. I am really surprised there haven't been any breaking changes since 1.6.6 is so old... Certainly the are capabilities which are not being t...

Re: System hardware allow-x86-64

I searched with both of those, at a minimum, and pretty much everything which came up had the "allow-x86-64" as part of someone doing a config dump and was NOT related to my question. I did find the below post which someone posted that it "looks" like Mikrotik has now put in 64 b...

Intel ATOM is not x86_64???

I am trying to load CHR on a Supermicro sys-5018a-ftn4 sever with an Atom C2578 processor. I loaded the image on a ssd, it booted, resized the HDD, then prompted that CHR only runs on a x86_64 then shutdown. Specs from Intel show it is "Intel 64" and is a 64 bit instruction set. So what am...

CRS326-24G-2s+ Hardware Issue

So I have the router listed in the subject and when plugging in power, it does not power up. I have isolated the issue down to the MOSFET which controls on/off power flow. Jumping across the MOSFET, the switch powers up and boots perfectly into RouterOS. Looks like at the gate of the MOSFET, there i...

Re: CSS610-8G-2S+ Management Access from SFP+ Port

Bit the bullet and let the switch download and install the firmware. Less than 30 seconds from time of clicking the button until it was back fully online passing data.Only about 5 seconds of actual downtime.

So far everything is stable and working.

Re: CRS312, VLANs cannot talk with outside of the switch

I still think there is an issue with your edge switch and the fact that vlan 10 is still showing as untagged and 20 and 666 are showing as tagged even though you specifically called out 10 to the tagged and 666 to be untagged.

This is why vlan 20 works but 10 doesn't.

Re: CRS312, VLANs cannot talk with outside of the switch

Hi Ropeguru I've taken a look through my EdgeSwitch. See the attached images from my EdgeSwitch. Neatly edited to only show the requested port / vlans. The Vlan Port Configuration, shows all 3 VLANs, 10, 20, 666, here 10 and 20 is tagged, with 666 untagged. The VLAN configuration, shows my trunk, s...

Re: CRS312, VLANs cannot talk with outside of the switch

So I've disabled port isolation, and changed my VLAN config, as you can see in the attachment. Still no luck.. Would downgrading the Firmware be a possible idea? - although 2.12 looks to be stable since release.. So the one thing we haven't seen is the configuration from the Edgeswitch. Just want t...

IGMP Snooping still broken for me on RC25...

Anyone using IGMP Snooping?
I have it enabled on a single vlan and do see entries under the igmp tab, but have not tested any further than that.

What is strtbiz.site?

So I am testing RouterOS7 Beta 3 and with debug turned on, I am seeing dns lookups for strtbiz.site.

What is this connection being used for?

I searched the forums and nothing came up for that domain.

Ok, so actually looking closer at the routing table, even though I have a vrf setup and a list associated which has the /29 interface in it, the route table still has that interface and /29 in the "main" table and not the vrf_fr2 table. DAc dst-address=23.152.224.112/29 routing-table=main ...

Re: v7 Beta and VRF config changes

So maybe this is a Wireguard issue, I have no idea. Scenario is that I have the Mikrotik sitting behind a cable router which does NAT for me, so everything on the Mikrotik is straight routing and no NAT. I have the WAN interface set with 10.1.10.2/24 and the gateway is 10.1.10.1 and is, of course, i...

So i have read through other posts about the status of VRF in the beta, but what I don't understand if the big change in the way it is setup. Previously, you would create the vrf, add routing mark, multiple interfaces, and other info. In the beta, you have to add interfaces to a list, which takes wa...

So mine is showing as SwichOS, not lite, and version 2.12, no rc.

If the case is that this does not work and they are not fixing anytime soon, then they need to recall and refund for every device.
