RouterOS v7 MUST include stable x86-64 architecture for PC. New and old ethernet drivers compatibility, and/or the ability to install custom drivers from linux repositories.

It just uses local IP address (for example, in case of CGNAT), like you get local internal IP 100.72.56.9 from your ISP, and then it's NAT'ed to public IP 93.125.75.34.

Automatic upgrade should be the default and is quickly becoming best practice.
Automatic upgrade with reboot will never become best practice in non-HA clusters.

I think you can emulate a \x00 with a [^\x01-\xff]
Good idea, but unfortunately you cannot :( Looks like they use null-terminated strings for matching, so there's no nulls in the input data for L7

If you have only one public IP, then masquerade is the only option.

Or provide an example of what you want to do.
