Re: Advanced Routing Failover without Scripting

PCC divides all connections into groups, it has nothing to do with WANs. In your case, you need 3 groups, one of them to be sent to WAN1 and another two - to WAN2 (so that it gets more traffic). f you have 3 WANs and want traffic equally distributed, you still use 3/0, 3/1 and 3/2. If you need to se...

I cannot figure why my router can't reach mikrotik's cloud and update my public address. these are my routes https://i.imgur.com/Jf785z0.png I don't see 0.0.0.0/0 route in your 'main' table (the one that is used by the router's processes like Cloud for initial route lookup) - that can be the reason.

So again, why don't you filter on CGNAT devices? They already have Connection Tracking on, and those rules use "connection-state=new", so CPU load should not be noticable.

There's no connection-state=new in RAW, so I'm not sure what is more efficient: checking each and every packet by two address lists or involving Connection Tracking in 'forward' chain to detect connection state...

More testing is needed :)

At top is good. It works for "connection-state=new", so doesn't add much load for CPU during normal work. And it passes all "good" packets for further processing by other rules.

Re: Adding Routes with DHCP

You forgot subnet mask, each route should contain it. Wrong:
0x18AC1401AC154601AC1402AC154601AC1403AC154601AC1406AC154601
Correct:
0x18AC1401AC15460118AC1402AC15460118AC1403AC15460118AC1406AC154601

You cannot check different uplinks via the same test host. So you need different hosts per uplink (like 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 for ISP1 and 8.8.4.4 and 1.0.0.1 for ISP2)

I see that you may add those routes manually via:
/ip address
add interface=PPP address=127.1.2.3 network=8.8.4.4
This (8.8.4.4) does work as gateway for recursive routes, according to my quick testing.

"gateway=etherN" works not the same as with point-to-point interfaces, and definitely not as you expect. Don't use this.

Docker relies on the "parent" OS to have all the necessary stuff. RouterOS doens't have any stuff to rely on. Maybe I'm mistaken, not sure if RouterOS kernel is enough.
Looks like kernel should be enough, e.g. container images can use their own library versions.

What issue? If you look at not-NAT'ed addresses and see not-NAT'ed addresses instead of NAT'ed addresses - it's how it should be. You need to look at NAT'ed addresses to see NAT'ed addresses. Both are available in NetFlow v9 data.

For IPFIX, you may select them to be included in the data:

On x86, Packages Update tries to download routeros-x86-7.0****, but looks like the file is actually named routeros-7.0***

Re: enhance "check-gateway" feature - use arbitrary check IP

"/ip route print detail" is a better way of showing because it doesn't hide routing marks. Also, use [code] blocks - this will save formatting.

My English is bad. Master Chupaka I use delphi tokyo and when connecting get or error: socket recv timeout in sockRecvbufferStr. Is there anything I can do to use on Tokyo?
Looks like you need to enable or allow access to API port on your router.

RouterOS v7 bundle package

- removed individual packages, only bundle and extra packages will remain
Does it mean that workaround for SMIPS' 'insufficient space' by installing only necessary individual packages won't work anymore? %)

It's not obvious to send CTRL+_ commands over ssh Yeah, reading the docs is kind of requirement... Looks like it's not the same problem as Olexandr999's (he's connecting from third-party Linux client, not from RouterOS or WinBox), but yes, you need to upgrade both MAC Telnet server and client :)

As login method was changed in v6.43 and old login method support was dropped in 6.45, you cannot use old MAC-Telnet clients anymore.

This should only happen when something is corrupted. Normally, Linux distributions know beforehand how much extra diskspace is required when installing or updating a package. So RouterOS can calculate if the new install will theoretically fit, and not start the upgrade when it does not fit. "T...

Not really. Step1: Download ALL necessary packages. Use RAM if needed. Step2: Verify ALL downloaded packages. Step3: If everything is ok, install packages. Done. This is how Linux Distros work: they download updates, verify integrity and then install. Okay, let's then imagine "out of disk spac...

Re: macros bug [SOLVED]

Or you can pass the var into function explicitly:
:global test yes
:global print do={
  if ( $test = yes) do={/log info yes} else={/log info no}
}
$print test=$test
:global test no
$print test=$test

Re: macros bug [SOLVED]

Oh, I see. That will do the trick:
:global test yes
:global print do={
  :global test
  if ( $test = yes) do={/log info yes} else={/log info no}
}
$print
:global test no
$print
By ":global test" you're saying you need to use 'test' global var in current visibility scope (function body).
