Re: Winbox v3.23 released!

Hey guys - any chance of getting a checksum for the WinBox downloads too? Wary of downloading an EXE file without any confirmation it's safe to work with. Thanks in advance. Checksum is not an reliable way of validating file authenticity - i.e. if it was modified after publishing. If an attacker ca...

Re: Winbox v3.23 released!

Hi, but 3.21 have main window resize bug on hi res displays. I think, the stable version is 3.20, imho.
Hello, I didn't check that, can tell only about my environment.
I've added my screen resolution to the specification though.

Environment Winbox 3.22 x64 and 3.23 x64; Windows 7 and Windows 8.1; Resolution: 1920*1200 (16:10 rati...

Re: Please add HTTPS support on mikrotik.com

I have seen bigger companies with such weakness.

Re: Winbox3.3 released!

Guys, PLEASE, take one hour study in today's cryptography and SIGN WINBOX EXECUTABLE (Microsoft Authenticode) with AT LEAST SHA-256 function, or dual-sign with SHA-256 and SHA-1 for compatibility (like Windows, WinRAR and other today's software does). Your software is used in very sensitive environm...

Re: Winbox3.0 released!

Guys, PLEASE, sign digitally Winbox executable. There are so many malware programs out there today and since your products are used on a very large scale, you are the target for criminals. You can get Microsoft Authenticode Certificate based on at least SHA-256 at very resonable price today. Please,...

Re: Winbox 3 RC

Digital Signature Dear Mikrotik, please sing new Winbox with digital signature, so we can be sure that executable comes from you. It is called Microsoft Authenticode . Make sure that it is mature signature, not old MD5/SHA1 based. SHA-256 is today's standard for certificates. It is not expensive, e...

Hello,

How recently discovered bug in OpenSSL (https://www.openssl.org/news/secadv_20140407.txt) affects RouterOS? Especially in terms of certficates, OpenVPN and IPSec (and maybe other functions). Do you consider to relase an update?

Thank you,
