Re: Is re-ordering fixed yet with IPSec and hardware acceleration? (Updating thread)

@mrz: With UDP there is usual not such great error as at TCP.

I think the relevant speed test ist TCP. On my test i can get over 2.5Gb (before anythis changes) over UDP but under 300Mb over TCP. Since now is all in production I was not able to test this update-

Re: Auto Date / Clock configuration in 6.38! Where is coming from?

Thank you for fast response.

I think it is from "cloud" since that was after first start of router.

Ok, good to know the default settings. Thx.

Auto Date / Clock configuration in 6.38! Where is coming from?

I just notice that after installing (on new device) the time and date was set correctly. And it is not set to 1970/1/1 any-more.

From where is this setting coming, how does router know/get correct time?

I am not sure if I want some self-congratulation from RouterOS?

I just got 2 GPON ONU module but when put into MikroTik routers they seems that are not detecting SFP modul details (funny is same at both) but say "Modul Present". RouterOS is 6.36.3 (tested also on 6.33.3). Is it possible that are both modules broken or there are any details that I forgot? Subques...

still debuging.....

It is pain in the ass to debug since I cannot establish any pattern when its happen.

there is no NAT in between, just normal LAN.

At the moment looks like some MTU related problems.

I´ll be back when i know more to share details.

RouterOS Audit

We are reading more and more how "big players" have problems with security of OS on their routes and switches.

What is Mikrotik doing to minimize that possibility? Doing any Audit or External Review of RouterOS?

It would be good to know to get higher trust and better selling point. Thanks.
