Re: CCR2116 flapping all ether ports but ether13

if you are using RJ-45 Interfaces, or sfp copper dac cables, consider the posibility of some electrical problem at the site Cat 5e cables in RJ-45 interfaces. Never had any issue like this before, having CCR, CRS, CSS and a lot of other devices in this rack. I will test it out of the rack anyway. a...

CCR2116 flapping all ether ports but ether13

We just ordered a brand new CCR2116-12G-4S+ to replace a CCR1016 but when getting it up in the rack yesterday I came across with all ports from ether1 to ether12 flapping after I connect more than 1 cable to it. When there is only 1 cable connected this doesn't happen. Initially tought it was someth...

Is the simple action=same rule you've mentioned above the only one in chain srcnat of /ip firewall nat ? Are there any rules in /ip firewall raw ? NAT is a functionality of connection tracking, so packets matching an action=notrack rule in /ip firewall raw cannot be NATed at all. Also the "sim...

Re: NAT action SAME behaves just like NETMAP?

My understanding is as follow: Netmap - Maps IPs 1:1, so must be 1000 IPs to 1000IPs, i.e. a /22 to a /22 Same - You might have 1000 IPs mapping to 255 IPs, so the NAT will try and use the same NAT IP map per src/dst address pair, if src and or dst is different, it might use another IP to map/NAT t...
