given the new bridge format that dumpss the master port concept, using the hardware switch, can we now used LACD bonded channels on the CRS226 products?
I might have to give up and buy a 169$ switchos sunning CSS326, as I understand that it can support LACP.

Can anyone confirm either?

6.29 broke my CRS226-24-2s+ access via winbox, it simply couldn't connect. fortunately I could still connect via web. 6.29.1 was applied via web and after that Winbox worked fine.

I use Adaptive Load Balancing on my Synology NAS to CRS226. It is important to have nothing configured for a trunk (for these ports) on your 226. LACP didnt work, but adaptive load balancing from the new synology beta seems good so far.

cAP -2n is exactly what I want except for no AC!

I had a similar problem previously in quickset.

Strangely I found that if I rebooted the router, it was in fact set. It seemed to be more of a cosmetic / interface bug.

well, are you hoping to access these servers via their internal IP or their external? if you are OK using internal, why not just add these hosts to your internal DNS? I can access the servers with their local IP:port but my point is to access them with mydomain.com:port from in and out my local net...

but you can set interface bonding (4 interface, 802.3ad) and bridge it into switch master port ;) It's true, and it works, I tried it, but CPU involvement limits it to 40MB/sec on a pair of bonded 1GBE links. I have an 1813+ Synology NAS Network fault tolerant might work, but frankly as I understand that setting, its only for increased uptime, not for any increased simultaneous performance. I assumed the link I presented was for all CRS, not a specific model. Was I wrong? I didn't find anything that indicated the 125 should have features that the 226 does not. That's a bit more $$ than I was hoping for, and the case is a bit too tech looking for most business or home requirements. ideally you want that smoke detector look so they don't get targeted for theft!

Was looking to connect my synology NAS over multiple bonded nics (it has 4) but It only mentions 802.3ad. is it possible to config it that was on the NAS and use another option on my CRS226? Or do I basically just have to wait for Mikrotik to support 802.3ad in hardware?

When I first setup my switch, I similarly lost connection. Someone here gave me a great hint that you can use winbox and connect to its MAC address. I used that, completed my configuration, and had no connection issue after that.

OK. I put all 24 GiGE ports and even the 10GigE SFP+ to Auto TX/RX flow control on my CCS226. I will watch for a while see how things go. Now I just need to find out how to find dropped packet stats on a windows box .....

virtually every site adds it and it looks so much more professional. From my perspective, I don't keep any text for sites with a favIcon on my favourites, keeps the toolbars so much cleaner!

I know, its not a big deal, but it's easy to add!

Why the bridge between the SFP port and eth1? Can it not just be a slave like the other ports?
I don't know about the CRS125, but on my CRS226 the 2 SFP+ ports can indeed be slaves of the same single master port.

The code are running only if you use it.

I tried my internal DNS as Well as google public DNS servers. Ping tested from tools menu to make sure that they could be reached from the switch. I type them in and hit apply and poof they are gone.
