Re: Bridge port received packet with own address as source, probably loop

No, both configurations are done from scratch with default settings first after the problems are coming with the news ROS. Editing of the Neighbor Discovery setting have not solve the problem. But setting on both units (AP and CPE) the MAC address of the unit's wireless interface as Admin MAC addres...

Hi,

now set to:

Re: Bridge port received packet with own address as source, probably loop

Same problem on CPE with ROS 6.38.5
AP with ROS 6.38.5 als AP bridge, CPE configured as station bridge. bridge1 with wlan1 and ether1

Only this one CPE is connected with the AP, on eth of the CPE a laptop is connected. No switches are playing in this setup.

thanks, Frank

wireless scan without wireless connetion interruption

Re: Feature requests

If I have opened a firewall rule, a Button to clone this rule.

I have a lot of INPUT rules, which are only different by the src IP Address.
So I can clone the rule, change the SRC IP and apply the rule.
Webmin (www.webmin.com) have it implemented for the firewall settings.

thanks

Re: Quick Set: AP Mode

okay, thanks for the hint. The serial cable will be my new (old) friend.
I have now setup the AP step by step and it's working very well.

The work around with the scheduler is a very good idea. This is a safe fall back to the local network for acessing the bridge.
Thanks.

best regards
