Are there any chances for native Linux ports of WinBox and Netinstall ?

Yes, I agree that this is BAD, unfortunately this is not the first time :). But I know what answer will give you the Support team. Upgrade both ends and then make a test.

Why are you testing different using versions of ROS? Just check if "V6.28rc20 -> Server V6.28rc20" is OK.

I'm pretty sure they can't just implement existing linux DNS server (Bind for example) for licensing reasons. RouterOS is not an open source product.

Re: RouterOS v6.25

Yes, this is a small misunderstanding. I am speaking about NTP server package, of course. I am just wondering, if it will be integrated into the standard upgrade package. I've noticed, that after upgrading ROS, I have to install NTP server package once again. Maybe I messed something with that :). I...

Sounds like a good idea. There are places, where we don't need quickset. Separate package would be sufficient, no need to have separate RouterOS versions, just possibility to enable/disable functionalities.

Question about DHCP lease time

Hi guys! I have question for those of you, who use DHCP server on RouterOS platform (or maybe to RouterOS developers). All my servers are configured to give clients 1d long leases. Sometimes I see clients, mostly Windows machines, with short, 30 second lease time. After this short time the client le...

Yes, I understand, but it is useless when you want to use it for auditing your devices (or employees). For example, when I add address for an interface: ip address add interface=ether3 address=192.168.10.1/24 I will get only: U action="address added" by="admin" policy=write time=...

Re: Log all console commands [SOLVED]

Let's be honest. Possibility to log user actions done on device is a must for any product created for business usage. Mikrotik should also implement such feature. All actions go to standard LOG, then we can forward this information to remote and secure syslog machine.

Hi guys, I need to start monitoring bandwidth used by clients on LAN side. This is DHCP Server based network.
