Re: v6.42 [current]

Hi, After upgrading from 6.41.3, RB850Gx2 started rebooting in a loop, reseting did help but only after 4th time, and still wasn't able to restore from backup, restoring from backup it started rebooting again. with 6.41.4 IPTV (multicast) traffic started glitching, I had to switch back to 6.41.3......

Re: RB1100AHx2 vs CCR1009-7G-1C-PC

Hello, i wish to install a routerboard to manage about 300 customers using usermanager as radius in pppoe. Do you think rb1100ahx2 is enough ? Or CCR1009-7G-1C-PC ? CCR1009-7G-1C-PC has microsd or any other type of external storage ? Thank you. Since that older CCR1009 do have microsd port, I doubt...

Re: Routerboard with dual SPF port.

Thanks for the post, I'm searching for 5+ ethernet ports.
Sorry for not giving this info, thanks.
CRS112 comes with 8 Gigabit ports, 4 SFP ports. Just that, it barely handle 50Mbps NAT. So, forget about this also.

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM MPLS Support

Do you really want to use SwOS? No SNMPv2/3, no STP, no CLI, ...
Using it, just that SwOS makes RB260 drop within "slightly smarter dumb-switch".

Re: Another CCR bites the dust

PSU on early 1036 is really bad. I got mine, 8 of it died within the same time frame, 3 years of operation. Ordered extra from distributor, incase the new ones have the same issues.

Re: Working CCR with LCD removed?

Yes, you are right. What about the CCR1009-7G-SFP+PC, I think that should fit perfetly my needs and let me remove the top cover to improve colling even more and at the same time get no noise at all? It is just to know if CCR could run with the LCD removed. Thank you It will work, no error logged. B...

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM MPLS Support

mrz can you tell us what cpu is inside? Is there wirespeed L3 performance over a ASIC or like before?
Most likely like last time. But SwOS bootable too. So, we can set this as normal L2 Switch without RouterOS interference.

Re: Sierra MC7430 4g LTE-A mini-PCI-e Modem PPP issues

Nope, sticking with MC7710, most stable after all. True but I need band 28. Anyway I've bought one so I'll see how I go. If I make any real progress I'll keep updating here. Actually all Sierra Wireless board without DIP Firmware, (DirectIP) won't be able to work properly. I suggest you go for Huaw...

Re: Sierra MC7430 4g LTE-A mini-PCI-e Modem PPP issues

Same problem happened to me. Just gotten MC7430 too, thinking to replace the old MC7710 in our boards.

With RB912 and RB953, can get DNS and IP but disconnects after a few seconds.
With RB922, not connecting at all, PPP DEBUG, says nothing informative, just initializing...

Re: Does CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+PC go up to 1000Mbps (WAN)?

II can vouch that the CCR1009 do 2Gbps NAT with no problem.

In fact one of the ISP recommend CCR to bond 3Gbps.

For some reason, based on 6.22rc7 and 6.22final both the provisioning feature did not provision random channels, it only provision the lowest channel available of the country-settings.

MikroTik not support WLAN over USB Seriously? http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Supported_Hardware#USB_wireless_cards Exactly this is confusing me. I've bought an adapter (WN722N), and despite the wiki says that it is supported, it is not working. The behaviour is the same as in the 1st post. According...
