The Wireguard interface is always in a "running" state. You can connect multiple peers to the same interface. There is no easy way to determine if the interface should be up or down.

Most likely you are looking for the Wireguard peers parameter "last-handshake".

For example, if there is some kind of a cache between your router and download servers, then it can cache old "LATEST.6" file and as a result you might see wrong version number here. Then router downloads ("upgrade.mikrotik.com/routeros/package" + LATEST.6 file contents) file.

Re: Looking up cloud.mikrotik.com every second

There are several features in RouterOS which use cloud.mikrotik.com or cloud2.mikrotik.com server. 1) Detect Interface feature: If enabled on your router, then all interfaces that are configured under this tool will try to resolve cloud servers domain name in order to detect Internet availability: h...

Re: Unauthorized access to MikroTiK

It is confirmed that this was another case of hacked router due to a insecure firewall configuration in combination with old RouterOS version (one which is vulnerable due to a Winbox related problem):

Which RouterOS version was installed on your router? Was there a secure username and password configured on your router? Was device protected by firewall?

I might try to guess, but without more details we can not answer if, for example, "problem with ARM wireless" is resolved. If problem is related to this RouterOS release, then please post more details about it. If it is not related to release, then write e-mail to support@mikrotik.com. Unf...

Re: keep rebooting on CCR1016-12G

You can find out a reason for the reboot without contacting support only if you are very lucky and guess the reason (by changing configuration or hardware parts, for example, power adapter). If your router is rebooting, then you should always: 1) Upgrade RouterOS; 2) Upgrade RouterBOOT; 3) Netinstal...

Re: Automatic update of ROS packages, Routerboard then Reboot

Have you enabled auto-upgrade feature under System/RouterBOARD menu? It was introduced few versions ago (not in v6.43.8, but earlier). However, option is disabled by default so someone must have enabled it on your router.
