Re: Groove52A weird CAPSMAN issue

Maybe it is me, but normally I create a bridge-local, and assign the ether1 and wan1 interfaces to this bridge. I can then get dhcp-client from the bridge etc. With the groove52 when I do this and use capsman it all goes wrong. So just removing the bridge, and not having one makes everything work as...

Re: Groove52A weird CAPSMAN issue

Update: Think I have resolved the issue. I had created a 'bridge' and put both the wireless(wlan1) and ethernet (ether1) interfaces into it. For some reason this caused the issue and when I removed it everything started working smoothly. I did set an admin mac, but that didn't help either, and the C...

Groove52A weird CAPSMAN issue

Hi, I'm experience a weird network issue with my Groove52A and RB4011 CAPSMAN. Network: RB4011 (CAPSMAN) -> VLAN TRUNK -> OmniTIK 5 POE -> VLAN ACCESS -> Groove 52A I have configured in CAPSMAN a 2Ghz Wireless network for the Groove 52A with 'create dynamic enabled' and CAP forwarding (no local forw...

Re: RBGPOE issue with Groove52A

Update:

I just assumed 50metres was too long and cut the cable in half and re-spliced a new RJ45 connector on, and attached it to a different switch. It now seems to be working fine. I guess 50m is just too long for POE and the Groove52A.

RBGPOE issue with Groove52A

Hi, I have a RBGrooveGA-52HPacn which I'm planning on connecting via a long run outdoor Cat5E cable (60M max) via the RBGPOW with a 24Vdc 1.4A adapter. The cable has been used before and was working with my SXTlite for my years. The issue I have is the RBGPOE light flashes and the Groove stays unpow...

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

Hi, Ignoring the performance issue on this, I have stability issues with ARM and NV2. On my SXT SQ AC box my NV2 link stays up for about 3 to 4 days and then the entire system reboots. I believe this was meant to be fixed with 6.42.4, but it obviously still seems to be happening. Anyone else having ...

Re: v6.42.4 [current]

Hi, Just to say regarding this point: joserudi, WirelessRudy - These fixes has nothing to do with Nv2 performance. In some cases ARM routers were rebooting themselves while runnning Nv2 links. Now we have introduced fixes that help in such cases. My SXTsq 5 ac (6.42.4 (stable)) using a PTP Nv2 conne...

Re: mAP Lite Ethernet susceptible to interference!

Hi, Just as a reply to this. I contacted the seller and the stock is a maximum of 3 months old. So it should definitely be a MK2 version. I guess there are still issues. I'm now just deciding whether to open it up and void the warranty or live with the 'blue-tack'. I suspect the blue-tack will win. ...

Re: mAP Lite Ethernet susceptible to interference!

Update: It has been running now for several hours without being attached to anything metallic, only via blue tack. The connection has been rock sold, whereas previously it was 'link' bouncing at least 2 to 3 times ever hour (or more). I suspect either the issue is back or my MAP lite came from a sup...

Re: mAP Lite Ethernet susceptible to interference!

Hi, Is this magnetic interference issue still happening with mAP Lites. I bought my mAP lite 17/04/2018 and it has issues where the eth1 port goes down every so often (seemingly random). I have removed the 'metal backing' plate for now and attached using 'blue tack', but I was just wondering whether...

Public IP for router via Wireless CPE

Hi, Apologies for the probably very basic query. I've tried searching the manuals and Google but as I'm not sure of the name of what I'm wanting I haven't found anything. I've just been provided a mikrotik sxt lite 5 wireless CPE from my ISP as a self install solution. It is currently setup to provi...
