After VPNing in, I tried to connect via HTTP to the firewall interface. It looksl ike the traffic is stuck at TCP state: "syn received" Also, if I disable the second network connection, everything seems to go back to working again. Is it possible that sinec VPN connections come in through a differen...

Ths is not a problem at all! There is nothing you can help flushing the connection tracking table as the other host will be unable to track your IP address change and resume the connection (it it would be possible, it would be considered major security wormhole). So no chance to revive existing con...

PPTP broke when I added a second network connection...

I had PPTP working on our primary Internet connection. We recently added a second Internet connection. How I get some very strange behaviors. Often times, I just can't connect to the VPN at all. The newest version of 2.9 beta has the ability to check routes. We will try to get it documented soon. John I'm looking to accomplish the same thing. Lets say that I start a ping -t http://www.yahoo.com. It starts receiving responses. I then disconnect t...

Automated failover....

Does anyone have any recommendations for scripts to manage automated failover between multiple internet connections (preferably with some sort of notification via email to a server on the back network that this has occurred)...?

How can I use Ethereal with streaming mode?

I'm faimliar with Ethereal, but I'm not familair with the Tazmen protocol. I already have Ethereal 10.6 (Windows) installed on my box. I selected streaming enabled and put my IP into the streaming box.

Now what?

I tried to doing a standard packet capture but I didn't see any Tazmen packets?

Will 2.9 support some form of automated failover?
