Capsman and automatic SSID configuration??

Is there a way to create a configuration at Capsman so each cap will create an SSID with its identity? e.g. cap with identity AP01 when assigned the configuration profile through capsman will create the SSID "AP01" and with the same configuration assigned AP02 will create the SSID "AP...

Re: CRS317 in HA environment

No i meant something like that https://support.sonus.net/display/DSCDO ... Mware+ESXi
All hypervisors i know of have built in redundancy capabilities.
HyperV has dynamic teaming.

Re: CRS317 in HA environment

Haven't tried this before with a hypervisor, but you could probably:
  • Bridge the two 10G interfaces of the hypervisor
  • Configure RSTP
This way you would have redundancy, but no throughput aggregation.
The same applies for firewalls.

Re: Loosing wAP access when LTE -in passthrough mode- comes up [SOLVED]

A solution was to make ether1 a trunk and passtrhough LTE over a vlan. Another solution -which i followed- is to create an EoIP tunnel to passthrough the LTE over it.

Re: v6.41 [current]

panosla - Please note that RouterOS version does not in any way affect Netinstall process. Can you Netinstall any other RouterBOARD just to be sure that configuration is correct and computer is not blocking Netinstall process? Sorry, my bad. I was actually trying to netinstall using ether2 instead ...

Re: Capsman v2 + wpa2-eap + server 2012 NPS

Yes it works for sure. I have it working on my home lab for about 6 months now. What seems to be the problem? (The forest and domain functional level is 2012) Here is the export with some garbage from the pre-capsman era. (I don't believe they are needed, but i never bothered deleting them) /caps-ma...

Re: Load Balance internet connections through BGP

This setup would require three routers instead off two.
I'm looking for a way to somehow approach the requirements and results of Cisco's GLBP

Load Balance internet connections through BGP

Good evening everybody!

i have two internet connections on a LAN using them for failover if one of the router fails(VRRP).
Is there a way to utilize the second internet connection without PCC in a more scalable way such as BGP?

Workaround for ZTE 667 on hAP

Good evening, i tried to use ZTE 667 for internet connection on a hAP(951). It works, but with one problem. When the router is powered up the interface does not exist. You must perform a soft reboot in order to get connected. If you hard reboot (disconnect power), the ZTE 667 disappears. I believe t...

I want to create a failover configuration for CAPsMAN through VRRP. I've managed to reach this far, meaning, my CAPsMAN system works ok and when the primary manager fail, all the CAP failover to the secondary manager.
