Re: iBGP vs OSPF

It is a business case, HQ and 900 branches. All working fine on ospf regarding rare situations when there is a problem with Internet links in HQ. It causes multiple reconnections on routers in HQ and sometimes crush ospf process, then restart is needed. Now there is a need of connecting all branches...

Re: iBGP vs OSPF

hello gryyzli, interesting. listening mode=on🤔 As ros7 support dynamic bgp neighbors hmm.. never heard of it. could you elaborate? You can define bgp connection using network as remote address, like below: /routing bgp connection add as=123456 disabled=no local.address=10.0.0.1 .role=ibgp name=bgp1...

iBGP vs OSPF

Hi. Currently running hub&spoke vpn config with around 900 spokes, two vpns to each + ospf on top of it. Spokes splited around 100 per area so pretty big LSA database. As ros7 support dynamic bgp neighbors I'm considering switching to iBGP, but never had experience with it. Any advices? Pros con...

CA crl PKI

Hello. I created vrrp cluster on two devices. On master device I created internal CA with crl - which is accessible via vrrp address http://x.x.x.x/crl/1.crl. Now when I switch vrrp to slave device, crl wont be accessible any more. Is there any way to transfer crl from one mikrotik to another? Secon...

Re: CCR1036-8G-2S+ L2TP/IPSec Disaster Issue

Had same issue on CCR1036 with 6.43 and 6.44 versions of ROS. On 6.40 and 6.45 problem does not exist. So for me it seems like some kind of bug in this versions.

Re: Route cache overflow (x86)

Re: Setup DMVPN

Hi,
There is no dmvpn on mikrotik.
Instead you can use l2tp/ipsec + ospf.
