I had this problem going from v6.38.4 to 6.38.5 on the RB3011 also. Unfortunantly the router is one of my main routers, and I didn't have a spare so I couldn't debug. In that scenario it is not wise to run RC software... I hope at least you make backups and/or exports and store them on another comp...

A RB3011 with a regular configruation when upgraded from v6.38.5 to v6.39.55 or v6.39.58 device becomes unusable: reboots again and again until it is recovered with reset and netinstall.

Why not ?
Why MIkrotik announces (still in the MUM) what is only partially supported?
Why ARM platform to run non optimized nor finished software?

FYI: I did go back with RB2011: is cooler, greener and stable
RB3011 is to collect dust in the black corner of the Office...it works like a charm for this: a really big box, really empty so ready to collect tons of dust.

Hi,
Are these facilities implemented in the ARM version of RouterOS used on RB3011?

This device does not appears listed as supported in the oficial documentation...the WIKI.

1- Try with another ethernet cable between the router and the multimedia player.
2- By default.... avoid Tx and Rx Flow Control.....

Yes it does.

Be patient...the rack version still not polished regarding the software: yes, works but partition does not , mono-cpu behaviour handling tcp trafic, issues with nntp client,....

If you are right, Mikrotik has lied his customer base because started selling a piece of crap, and I don't believe this is the case. This young device now is working like a charm, at least, for me. Oppsss.....it's so bad so see Microtik silence on RB/3011....Sorry for that, but its does not make sense.

I have just, finally, thanks my God, replaced an ERLITE-3 by an RB/3011 on a 300/300 Mbits PPOE/Nated fiber connection with IPTV and IP phone...unbeliable: back to have a router in a corner of my house acting as a router and not cal...

Dear Mikrotik, I did monitor each CPU using System->Resources->CPU and it [flash=]seems [/flash]that all the trafic is handled by one of the CPUs, during my tests it was always the second,....1 , 2, 3 or 4 tcp streams..it does not care: always one CPU appears (really) busy while the other always< 5%...

Hi Mikrotik,

WIth RouterOS v6.33.3, Partition does not work: you are allowed to configure the number of partitions but after rebooting you still have a single one.

@kiler129....My complaints are not on RouterOS, I like it,really !...but hardware for SOHO environments over fiber.

My two cents on that...I like Mikroik software but the combination of RouterOS and Mikrotik hardware some times in frustraring: to handle PPP over filber having 300/30 Mbits...One needs to go to across 1100 device ? It is crazy: RB850x2 no comments to add to whast has been discused again and again, ...
