Re: CHR + Hyper-V + Virtual Nic in Trunk Mode = VLAN issues

Hello artie11, I can confirm I used a similar command to set VLAN tagging on the Ethernet, that is mine: Get-VMNetworkAdapter -VMName "Virtual Machine Name" |Where { $_.MacAddress -eq "00155DD93113" } |Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan -Trunk -NativeVlanId 0 -AllowedVlanIdList "9,20,...

Re: CHR + Hyper-V + Virtual Nic in Trunk Mode = VLAN issues

Hello artie11, we are working with RouterOS 6.35.4 on HyperV (W2012R2) using VLAN and all seems to work well. We are using HyperV Synthetic Network adapter since now it's fully supported. From powershell we configured "NativeVlanId 0" and AllowedVlanIdList equal to the VLAN tags we want tr...

Re: CHR + Hyper-V + Virtual Nic in Trunk Mode = VLAN issues

Hello, we have the same issues using trunk mode with HyperV 2012 R2, yesterday I wrote a post here: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=98981&start=450#p524979 I already opened a ticket with MikroTik support. They thanked me and said that they will work on that problem. I suppose ...

Re: Hyper-V integration components

Hello, I hope that MikroTik support team will add HyperV synthetic network adapter drivers since FastEthernet can be a limit. I read that they added also the drivers for VMXNET3 adapter for VMware so I think that support for synthetic network adapter is on their roadmap. I think that MikroTik is wor...

Re: Hyper-V integration components

Hello, I was reading the changelog of RouterOS v6.31rc14 and I noticed this... *) chr - added support for HyperV fast ethernet It talks about HyperV fast ethernet so I think that the synthetic network adapter is still unsupported but maybe it can be a sign that MikroTik is working to officially supp...

Re: SFP Copper compatibility with CCR1016-12S-1S+

Hello, Finally, I found a way to use the Solid Optics SFP (Cisco Coded) on my CCR1016-12S-1S+: - I disabled autonegotiation on the SFP port in which I installed the Solid Optic SFP (Cisco CODED) - I forced the speed and duplex on the MikroTik SFP port to: 1Gbps - Full-Duplex Now I can see the link o...

SFP Copper compatibility with CCR1016-12S-1S+

Hello, I have a problem using some Solid Optics Copper SPF (CISCO CODED) with a MikroTik CCR1016-12S-1S+ upgraded to 6.19 version of RouterOS. In particular, the SFP seems to be recognized by the MikroTik in fact issuing the command: "monitor sfp1" I get: name: sfp1 status: no-link auto-ne...
