CCR1036-12g-4s Memory Leak

Dear Team Few days ago i noticed that my CCR is only having 300 Meg of Memory left out of 4 Gig of Total Memory, which was really shocking, as we are running only 100 users over it and 200 Megs of bandwidth. Not sure exactly from when it is started but about a month ago I add a firewall rule in Mikr...

Re: Mikrotik to Mikrotik VPN Configuration [SOLVED]

Do you have route to remote subnet on CCR? See "routes" in user's PPP Secret.
That was missing, I just added the static route in the CCR and it started working. Thanks buddy.

First thing, the 951U is fast Ethernet only, your trunk is always going to be limited to 100mbps. No issue at all, first of all it is needed to start working, after that we can upgrade the hardware easily. Can you or anyone else briefly explain why this thing is not working ? I am having confusion ...

Re: Trunk ports and vlan routing

1. By using MikroTik bridging - it is simple, but the trunk must not have a native vlan - all should be tagged. And - the worst part - it consumes CPU and the bandwidth will be low - wasting the gigabit ports. Then: /interface vlan add name=ether1vlan10 interface=ether1 vlan-id=10 /interface bridge...

Hi,

What is the max throughput on the UBNT link?
It is giving me stable 90Mbps tx / rx in good weather, whereas during rain it drops to approx 75 Mbps to 80 Mbps.

Yes it is possible through several ways. You can study articles on the web. You can use port bonding as well as load balancing option and can use aggregated bandwidth from all of your WANs.

You have to add drop rules against those ports/IPs in your firwwall. This is not your ISP responsibilty to block it but your own.

You have to configure 2 DHCP servers for both Lan and Wan Interfaces. You can also set wlan as parent interface in Lan and remove IPs from addresses from that interface. Now your LAN customers also get DHCP IP automatically.

a 2011-UiAS should be able to cope with 80Mbps and 20+ pppoe user along with simple queues, looks "tight" but doable for me; sounds like your config is not optimized for the task, probably in the mangle and filter firewall areas. Equally important is determining the health of the downlink...

Assuming you have some sort of tunnel between the two sites, it sounds like the RB2011 is becoming a bottleneck for you. I would switch to a CCR1009, especially the new ones. A CCR1009 will blow the doors off of a 2011 any day of the week. Introducing an RB750 doesn't really help you. If the 2011 i...
