RB953GS-5HnT-RP+R11e-LTE reliability issues

Hi we are using R11e-LTE on RB953GS-5HnT-RP on 100+ units, and several units exhibit reliability issues: * R11e-LTE not recognized by ROS sistematically * R11e-LTE not recognized by ROS on warm reboot, but works after cold reboot * R11e-LTE not recognized by ROS on warm reboot, but works after cold ...

feature request: upgrade mactelnet

I just discovered that my mactelnet (debian mactelnet-client 0.4.4-4 package) can't login anymore with routeros 6.45.3, and probably with any version later than 6.43 is there a plan to update the mactelnet package (https://github.com/haakonnessjoen/MAC-Telnet)? I need it to work on mikrotik routers ...

api change isn't - Re: v6.43 [current] is released!

regarding this change: !) api - changed authentication process (https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:API#Initial_login); as we have an application based on Net_RouterOS library (https://github.com/pear2/Net_RouterOS/), which is long unmantained, I tried 6.43, expecting it to break our application. ...

DFS: show radar-detecting interface as active

hi

when a wireless interface is radar-detecting, it not available to establish connections.

this should be immediately visible with a flag in /interface wireless, either the I (inactive) or new dedicated flags for "searching frequency" and "radar detecting"

Re: capture output of ssh remote command

SSH command output can be saved with "output-to-file" option. 1) true, thanks (meanwhile I had found it out too) 2) but there is another quirk: the file content is not immediately available, you need to insert a delay between creating the file and reading it (sic): :global GoldenUser; :global Golde...

Re: capture output of ssh remote command

not sure if there is a feature to redirect the output to a file (afterall, routeros is Linux-based). can you try this.. /system script> run test file=someoutput.txt and see if that is what you need? parameter is not supported: [toor@PEAMI-GW] /system script> run test file=someoutput.txt expected en...

Re: SNMP LTE signal strength

The oid for LTE signal strength is 1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.16.1.1.2 the last digit of the OID is the interface ID, and on my unit (RB953GS-5HnT with one ME909u-521) it happens to be 3: IF-MIB::ifDescr.3 = STRING: lte1 and at least the GETNEXT SNMP operation works fine, then snmpwalk is able to find t...

Re: SNMP LTE signal strength

hi I get the wrong result type from SNMP (STRING instead of INTEGER, and including the unit) as a result, I'm forced to use a script in my monitoring software (zabbix) to clean it and store the result as a number that I can graph # snmpget -v1 -c <COMMUNITY> <IP> .1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.16.1.1.2.3 MI...

Re: MC7304 SIERRA WIRELESS

I was able to use the card following the instructions in
http://blog.gowifi.co.nz/2015/04/config ... 4-for.html

/interface lte is not created, PPP/3G only

any news on support for this card in 4G mode for ROS 6.x?

thanks

Re: RB433AH did not list one of the three AR9160 cards

hi all,

is this issue still present?
was it tested with 6.x ROS?
did the first two AR9160 cards work correctl?

we are considering the same HW combination, I'd like to know what limitations we are facing

thanks

Re: ROS 5.x becoming unresponsive. 132 (No buffer space ...

just had the same issue with 6.11 on RB433AH

the board had 15w+ of uptime

wds links with other similar units were up, but could not ping the affected unit

after resetting a wds link, it re-estrablished and this time I could reach the affected unit and reboot it
