Re: v6.28 OSPF/BGP/MPLS Bug

Thanks for the post, always good to have someone else with the same problem!

I'm going to see if I can find some spare hardware and generate some logs for Mikrotik so we can get a confirmed fix in upcoming versions.

Re: RouterOS v6.28 released

Hi Mikrotik support. 6.28 broke BGP signaled VLPS. I don't have any logs as I don't have the spare equipment to do it outside of my production environment yet, however it's easy enough to reproduce. Looks like there is at least one other that can confirm the problem. http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewto...

Re: OSPF error

Just noticed this thread. I can confirm something is wrong with OSPF or some protocol in v6.28.

v6.28 OSPF/BGP/MPLS Bug

Hi, Just reporting this here because I can't make a support case for it (production equipment, and just wanted to get it up and running ASAP). I have a BGP signaled MPLS network across a few sites with CCR routers. This morning I had a port flapping on one of the CCRs, so I decided to upgrade the fi...

Re: VPLS problem

What can make a vpls port come up in an inactive state?
The answer is not having LDP configured properly.....

Solved this, nothing wrong with the BGP/VPLS. vpls-id is not required.

You must ensure you have correct mpls/ldp connectivity as well before an VPLS port will come up.

Re: VPLS problem

I have found something interesting... The VPLS tunnel has no ID. http://iforce.co.nz/i/lq3mzu1e.y2k.png I can't set the ID via the GUI (well, i can, but it disappears, assuming because it's a dynamic tunnel). I can't set it via the CLI as it's not a valid option to see in bgp vpls. I do note this ve...

Re: VPLS pro[url=http://www.iforce.co.nz/View.aspx?i=p3cdn4w

I've disabled the dymanic allocation of the VPLS port into the bridge, and then tried to add it manually. As you can see in this screenshot the VPLS is up in the interfaces window, yet when I try to select it as a bridge port it's disabled http://iforce.co.nz/i/p3cdn4wb.5zt.png Bug? I've tried 6.21,...

VPLS problem

Hi, I've setup BGP signaled VPLS between a couple of CCR-1009's running 6.20. BGP signalling works correctly and the VPLS tunnels are created successfully. They are added to the correct bridge as expected, however the vpls ports are inactive in the bridge configuration, so no traffic will pass. For ...

Re: Is there something wrong with ccr1009-8g-1s-1s+ ?

Purchased 8 of these last week. 5 were from one batch (came with 6.13 installed) and 3 were from another (6.18 installed). Left them all on idling over the weekend, 2 of the earlier batch have failed this morning. No lights/leds/lcds. Just appear dead. I popped the cover and the PSUs are still suppl...
