5.8 GHz not longer working with ROS 6.43.3

Hi, we have a couple of different Mikrotik Wireless Systems running. After upgrading some of them to ROS 6.43.3 the antennas didn't no longer connect to the APs running von 5.8 GHz. After upgrade wireless scan doesn't work either. It sees no networks although there are many. After downgrading to ROS...

WDS or not WDS?

Hi folks,

I read many posts in this forum and elsewhere. Some tell me that WDS has throughput issues. Some tell WDS is great.

What is true? Or on what does it depend - number of clients, distance, something else - one should use WDS or not?

Kind regards

Re: poor performance with R52HN with NV2 ROS5.7

Its crossed over and the noise levels are very high, try another channel, do a frequency usage scan and use the less usage channel I don't understand: -110 dB is a high noise level??? All my antennas have -110 dB what is - i think - the detection minimum of the cards. They are working fine. Please ...

30 or 45 degrees sector (dual pol.)?

Hi eyerybody, does anyone know a dual polarized sector with 30 or 45 degrees? I'm looking for something similar but I only find 60 or 90 degrees sectors and "normal" spots with not more than 20 degrees. Between the spots and the sectors there is a big gap I find. I need some of such sector...

Recover SXT from Firmware Update Failure?

Is it possible to recover a SXT which did not successfully upgrade its fimrware?

Mine does not boot - no beep...

On a "normal" RB I would do this via Serial Console and Netinstall.

How to do it on a SXT?

Kind regards

Process List (like "ps" and "top" comands under linux)?

Hi, i searched the FAQ, the WIKI and this forum but I didnt found any hint howto check which processes are currently running on my routerboard. I can print the CPU-Usage, yes. But I can not see which process takes how many of this. Is it possible to get this - as I mean importand - information? Fux

Re: How do I conect RB with AWG-22 Installation Cable?

The problem is not the cat7. It would exist in the same matter if we use cat5 or cat6.

The problem is that the installation cable is to thick to crimp a connector direct on it.

How do I conect RB with AWG-22 Installation Cable?

Hi, as You all know, the RBs have RJ-45 Connectors on Board and with the Outdoor Enclosure Mikrotik delivers a connector from outside to inside the enclosere which has RJ-45 Connectors too. What to do if I have Cat-7 Installation Cable on the roof, wich is to thick to crimp a RJ-45 Connector on it? ...

I thank you for your help.

But it didn't work either: I set scan-list to 5200, but no 5-GHz-Turbo became available.

Lower Ping than 4-5 ms?

Hi everybody,

is it possible to bring down the Ping-Time under 4 ms?

We are using two RB100s with AR5213 in PTP-Mode with WDS.
4-5 ms is not much but now we must use one or two additional WLANs Lines to connect another base. And that means twice ore thre times 4-5ms...

Hello everybody,

we are using 2 RB100s with AR5213 too. And we got the same problem with RouterOS 2.9.25 till 2.9.30: No 5-GHz-Turbo Mode at all (with or without country setting).

Is it possible to downgrade to 2.8.x? Were there bugs we should know in 2.8.x?
